Open until 05:00 PM

800 N State College Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92831, United States

“We visited California State University at Fullerton on a self-guided tour along with some other schools in California. It was summertime, so the campus was not crowded. We were impressed with the beautiful buildings and the overall atmosphere of the campus. There was background music playing from speakers all around, adding to the ambiance. The buildings looked well taken care of, with nice seating areas throughout the campus. Few students were moving about on these fast scooters as the campus is vast. There was a lot of trees and plants all around - very green campus. What stood out to us were the unique architectural features on many buildings, which made it different from the other three schools we visited that day. It was a very pretty and fun visit for a family of a prospective student.”

San Jose State University Spartan Bookstore

211 S 9th St, San Jose, CA 95112, United States

“A lot of stuff is way too expensive and you should definitely not use this store for ANYTHING tech related unless you are purely an apple fanboy. All other laptops and devices are severely outdated and/or overpriced. The staff are friendly however and there's a good handful of drinks and snacks but yeah don't go here for pretty much anything else.”

Icon Collective
4.9

Open until 06:00 PM

100 E Tujunga Ave #100, Burbank, CA 91502, United States

“I booked a one way ticket to LA and started the Music Production Program at Icon Collective. This music school truly gave me the varied skillsets I’ve always been interested in learning like Music Business, The Artist Mindset, Songwriting, Music Theory, Studio Techniques, Ear Training, and Synthesis. Most importantly, the mentoring sessions were top notch! An added bonus was the incredibly supportive community experience. If you’re thinking about the total and complete school for music, the answer is Icon!”

Pepperdine University
4.5
( 16 reviews )

24255 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90263, United States

“Graziadio Business School hosted the sixth annual Most Fundable Companies event last week, once again displaying its firm commitment to entrepreneurship. This school and its leaders have built a reputation for themselves in the community regarding entrepreneurship and leadership that sets them apart from most other business schools. For those seeking to make their mark as an entrepreneur, Graziadio Business School is the ideal place to study. Describing the Most Fundable Companies event as “inspirational” or “amazing” would simply be inadequate.”

De Anza College
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

21250 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014, United States

“DeAnna College is wonderful, besides being a fantastic scholastic educational college, it is a flea market one Saturday each month. This is what I'll share about today. The flea market is a parking lot filled with dealers and one timers who sell everything from household items to antique furniture. I venture there each month to find antique Victorian glass and old toys to resell. I always bring home treasure and goodies from there. Most sellers are very friendly and HAPPY to help and share in knowledge. I enjoy myself and most buyers love it. The market does close during wet winter months and opens the rest of the year. I have taken my friends and family from out of the area to DeAnza Flea market. We make a Saturday filled with lots of fun and joy being together”

“This university is well-maintained with new looks since I ever visited, it also has interest history to cultivate important figures that contribute to the state and intrinsic architecture that suits the look of a European style university.”

“One of the best decisions I've ever made! Anderson is one of a kind. Best public school in the country, the facilities and faculty do not disappoint. Ensure you check which program is the one for you - FEMBA, EMBA, and regular MBA.”

Laney College
4.4
( 10 reviews )
Open until 10:00 PM

900 Fallon St, Oakland, CA 94607, United States

“I came to tour Laney College during an enrollment event advertised on television and because they offered free tuition for the fall 2023 semester. After touring the campus, I found the campus fine for being an urban college. It is next to the Lake Merritt BART station, making commuting easier for its students — they even offered a free AC Transit pass of those enrolled half-time. I was amazed they even offered free meals and books to their students for fall.”

Los Angeles Valley College
4.3
( 10 reviews )

5800 Fulton Ave, Valley Glen, CA 91401, United States

“This is not an organization, but more disorganization. I enrolled my wife for spring classes and they gave us no information how to sign up in their website, no orientation nor direction how to start from one point to next. It's been a 4th time I took my wife to the classes and no teacher is available to give permission for a classes. Most teachers are rude, unprofessional and they're late every day. I don't recommend anyone here if you really need to learn the language.”

Bookstore

Torrance, CA 90506, United States

“They never have supplies that the students actually need. Their art supplies are always low. When asked, they said "well they get sold out!" You would think there would be some coordination between the class schedules and the bookstore. We should not have to go to Micheals, Blick or Amazon to get supplies. Also, if classes begin at 8am, should they not be open a little before just in case they "do" have supplies that students need? Maybe I am misunderstanding what a college bookstore is supposed to do?”

Fullerton College
4.3
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

321 E Chapman Ave, Fullerton, CA 92832, United States

“Worst Community College, most students say they have been to admission it was just a joke. Continuously losing transcripts electronically and officially. Advisors have no idea what classes to take for the students. When the students attend and transfer to the university, the advisors there say those classes are not necessary. Instructors are just terrible when community colleges are supposed to be a foundation, whereas some courses are ridiculously difficult for some students to pass. This institution is always in construction. I am so glad that I have transferred out and gone to another college to graduate with a breeze of better knowledge of the education system. FYI, I do not highly recommend this campus for students to waste their time and money. Students and parents do not go to this campus. Very disappointing campus! No wonder the actual transfer rate out from this school is 36% from California.”

American River College
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Open until 05:00 PM

4700 College Oak Dr, Sacramento, CA 95841, United States

“My daughter is attending classes here and it was so annoying that two days a week I waited for her in the car for only 1 hour that lasted the only class she had on those days and I had to pay the parking (yes, once the parking police was about to put a ticket on my windshield because they couldn't see me behind the paying station, I'm way to short, but as soon as I walked towards my car I yelled at them waving the ticket in my hand so they just apologized and got into their golf cart) another thing I don't understand is why the collage FORCE students to pay for Public Transportation (bus) even if they are being dropped by they parents or uber, yes other colleges like SacState give it for free but ONLY to students requesting it because it will be their only way of transportation (my oldest son had to use it since his class schedule didn't allowed me to drive him there). Aside from those 2 things, my daughter loves her classes & teachers and has attended events that she also enjoyed a lot.”

California Lutheran University
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 05:00 PM

60 W Olsen Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360, United States

“CLU has a beautiful campus, with native landscaping that is labeled to identify the species. we enjoy taking long walks around and through the campus. There's a walking bridge the crosses over Olsen Road so students and faculty do not have to travel longer distances than necessary, and it also connects the northern portion of the campus to the southern. They have several new buildings, including a state-of-the-art cafeteria, gymnasium with weight room, and a museum. In the summer months, prior to the pandemic, the Kinsmen Company hosts Shakespearean plays in the campus park, complete with a full stage and professional actors. Patrons can take a picnic dinner and purchase wine and beer before the play or during intermissions. Seats are on the grass, on blankets or on low-backed lawn chairs The Los Angeles Rams also train on the northern part of the CLU campus in a cordoned-off section that houses their training facility. I encourage a trip to visit the CLU campus if you're in the area.”
