“Worst experience I’ve had in Barranquilla. I went with my girlfriend and her friend to have some drinks and eat. The drinks were mid, did not feel the alcohol. Worst of all was the service (the server was nice but manager seemed like she had never ran a restaurant in her life.) the main issue we had was that the pastas were cooked horribly. The girls ordered penne a la burrata to share and I ordered crispy chicken with penne pasta and marinara sauce. Both pictures looked fantastic and saucy on the menu. Both pastas came dry, with the least amount of sauce possible. My chicken came out burnt. When we told The server we wanted more sauce he went to ask the manager and came back saying they couldn’t add more sauce. Then I showed him the pictures of the food on their menu compared to the actual food we got and he said we were right. 2 minutes later the manager comes back saying that those dishes are returned all the time because customers aren’t used to dry pasta and that’s the way they do it their since they are new dishes. And that corporate doesn’t want them adding much sauce. I then again complained about the chicken because it was burnt black. And then I continued by showing the manager a picture of both dishes and stating that we order what was on the picture not a dry pasta. If it was dry then they should advertise it that way or have a picture or warning to the customer. I stated both were supposed to be sautéed in marinara sauce and she tried to say that I was saying I asked for marinaro sauce. Which they don’t even offer at this restaurant. Trying to make the customer think they’re wrong when the kitchen doesn’t want to cook the food the right way, and because “corporate” doesn’t allow them to put enough sauce on the pasta. I’ve never heard of any place serving dry penne with marinara sauce. She then stated they were going to remake the pasta and add the same sauce but that it would come out the same. 5 minutes later, we get our pastas. My chicken is as burnt as it was the first time, the pasta had much better amount of sauce, however it was cold, missing salt and flavor. The server felt so bad that he even asked if we were sure we wanted to Leave a service tip. Which of course we did because it’s not his fault the cooks can’t make pasta correctly, and the manager lacks the skills to run a restaurant correctly. Overall $178,000 for bad cold food. Never again.”

“I had the vegan ramen. It tasted great. Sadly, it cost extra for tofu and was the same price as the ramen with meat. This was quite an expensive meal hence why I’m giving only 4 stars. I asked for table water and didn’t even get that.”

“LOVE their breakfast veggie egg bagel. It had cheese and avocado. It comes with potatoes. It’s fresh and honestly an amazing way to start your day. And the service is quick. They have an English menu once you scan their QR code. It was about 32,000 for the bagel and latte with tip.”

“Quiet and traditional atmosphere Too expensive for what it is, the food was good, nothing out of this world, normal service but excessive prices. I live in Bogota and I have visited restaurants with similar prices but with differentiation in their dishes.”

“The employees were the reason I give this place 4 stars, especially the big Venezuelan guy who speaks English and manages at night. The cashiers were nice and he was watching out for me and my order carefully. The costillas came with fries, arepa with queso and a small salad too. The ribs and fries were pretty good! This place is packed on weekend nights! Huge portions for French fries as well.”

“Walking around Barrio Bajo we found a hallway with this restaurant that caught our attention because of the atmosphere. We decided to give it a try and we encountered great service and delicious food. We ordered breaded fish that came with soup, rice and salad. It tasted very home made and the presentation with plantain leaves made it more appealing to the eye and stomach. Would like to come back here to try more dishes.”
