“Update: We returned and again enjoyed our show. I know we're going back again. We had an excellent evening watching one of our favorite comics. This was our first time to this comedy club. It was well organized, and signage was clear about where to go and what the next step was when entering. The staff checked us in and asked if it was our first time. They gave us the rundown and explained what we needed to know. We purchased a package that included drinks and snacks. This was explained well by the excellent server we had. It was packed, but the vibe was relaxed. The drinks were good, but skip the pretzels. I don't have high expectations for food at a comedy club, so I give them a pass on this area. The popcorn was great. Our service was excellent!! The server was attentive and kind. Random things to note are that the ladies' room has only 3 stalls, so there was a wait. Parking was less than ideal. There's a small lot and the rest is on the street. But, these are just limitations of the building. We are definitely going back!”

“I went on Sunday while the have live music. (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday | 7pm-12am) Local musicians come sign up to play their instrument or sing. Then they get put together to freestyle. It's is both incredible and sometimes hard to sit through. I have been in several times and thier main bar usually has a rad bartender playing 2000's hip-hop/R&B. My only critique is atmospheric, hoping for better mood lighting in the main bar.”

Our bar tender was really cool; she went upstairs to search for a shirt size for my husband to purchase. They have stickers and other stuff available for purchase too. They do allow smoking inside so be prepared for that”

“14 dollar beers and the show wasn't worth $30. Smoking section is a weird roped-off section outside. No ins and outs, I guess; the employee I talked to didn't seem to know what that phrase meant. I asked him if there was anywhere else to be besides the super crowded main area and he said there's another bar in a dark spot where I could see other people (in retrospect probably an upcoming act). Then when I started walking that way he yelled that I needed to go to the main area smdh.”

“I came here on June 1st for a comedy show without any planning. I walked past the bar and two men were advertising a comedy show for $20 cash. I saw after the fact that tickets are $10 online and was charged $20 at the door. I am not complaining well worth. Just wish I would’ve known sooner. Definitely funnier after drinking some. I believe there’s a two drink minimum. The comedians were funny I suppose not the best in the world but we definitely did laugh a lot and have a great time. Nice venue. Friendly bartenders. The comedians really engaged with the audience. This was my first comedy show and I would love to go to more in the future after this wonderful introduction.”

“What a great time at Tipsy Flamingo, my first time ever I’ve heard so many great things about this place from my friends and it did not disappoint. The bartenders are super cool and friendly. When I was there my bartenders were Cristina and Jossie they are true mixologist, all the drinks I had were perfect. The music was on point and the vibe was the best. Will definitely be back!”

“Comedy act was funny, although some parts are very US-centric (not great if you don't know cultural references). Price is high, but apparently normal these parts; I'm not a fan of the "minimum 2 menu items" policy, but again, that's the norm... Food is so-so. The most upsetting thing is their gratuity charge: normally, a patron will choose to pay, and how much as well. However, they FORCE you to pay 20% (service isn't that great) by adding it to your bill. Most people are uncomfortable asking for it to be removed! Can they not do like other establishments, letting people select their % ...?”

“Monday night vibes! The crowd, the energy, the live karaoke sessions! Drinks are so so. $$$ my friend paid $23 for a drink in a small plastic cup. I don't think it's worth $23. Entry was $20 even on a guest list. Male or female. My roomie was a regular, so I finally gave it a try. It was full to me but the roomie said, its usually more crowded. There were a lot of beautiful black woman. I noticed the woman more than the men. 😅 I'd recommend it for a fun Monday night. :)”
