From the very first consultation, with Dr Sam, till my first appointment. I met the most amazing doctor and nurse. They made me feel comfortable from day one. Dr Kathy Song and Laura were both great. I didn’t even notice the time go by, from putting on my favourite series to whatever music I wanted. Just to make it even more memorable. Sorry for all the hugging. “My dentist here is amazing and have only ever had positive and painless experiences. However, recently I was unable to book with my regular dentist online so I booked with another dentist. I received a phone call to confirm my appointment and I then proceeded to ask if my original dentist had left the practice. The receptionist informed me that my dentist is still there but does not take online bookings. I then told the receptionist that I would rather change my booking to be with my regular dentist. We began to discuss availability. As I have moved to regional Victoria for three months it’s difficult for me to see my availability in Melbourne. I asked when the next available was and it was November during the week which didn’t work for me with work. I asked if she could give me some dates/appointments in late December that my dentist was available and I may be able to choose from them as it’s hard for me to get back to Melbourne. She then rudely said to me “just give me a date”. Feeling completely disregarded and rushed, I then said “don’t worry I will book in with my mum when I get the chance because we often see him together”. The receptionist then said “okay do you still want your appointment tomorrow?” I then said “no thank you I’ll reschedule”. Before I finished my sentence and right after I said “no” she hung up on me. Never before have I come across such a rude receptionist. Someone who is supposed to help their clients and work with them to choose a suitable time. Not rush them and be totally rude and condescending. Could not believe the disrespect I received. I hope they record their phone calls. I have never had an issue with any of the receptionists until now, all the others are extremely lovely.”
