“I'm probably a nail technician's worst nightmare. Not only do I have overly sensitive nails, my nature nails are weak and brittle. I also have to wash my hands over 15 times a day because of my work. On top of that, I go boxing 3-4 times a week. I've returned to the salon with broken nails. Each time explaining I'm very rough with my nails. Every time they repair the cracked acrylic at no charge. Tiffany and Mia are incredibly gentle and friendly. Both technicians take their time. I never felt like they were rushing to get to the next client. I recently had the owner work on my nails and she advised me on how to take care of my nails. She also helped me pick out the most perfect red to match my skin tone. Reasonable prices and excellent service. The photos are 5 weeks of growth. No chipping or lifting.”

“Because of one of their main teachers, Holly Hui, i would recommend this course to anyone interested and committed to learning how to become a barber. I understand that the course is relatively new to this school, and is still going through working out little kinks. Holly was not only professional while providing exceptional education and instruction, but made it fun at the same time. Waking up early and feeling able to go 8 hours straight without complaining about how much content I had to consume was made possible by having a teacher that was able to adapt and fight for our needs.”

“I went into Sephora today to get a retinol + vitamin C serum and Jay was SO helpful and kind when I asked which ones he recommended! He was so knowledgeable and gave me his top 3 products for each that were in alignment with my goals/budget, and gave me the pros and cons of each. I am so happy I asked him for help. :) Pic of the ones I got! For reference I asked which ones would be best for beginners.”

“This is the best place to go get your hair done. I’ve been coming here for a year and a half for nanolink extensions. Emmy does my hair and she always makes me feel amazing. The first time I came here I’d come from a previous hairdresser that had messed up my extensions and I was afraid I was going to have to cut a lot of my own hair off due to it having matted. They took me in with no notice and fixed/saved my hair and i didn’t have to cut any of it off and I’m so grateful. Everyone here is really kind and all the hair dressers are very detail oriented. The hair bundles they have are also really good quality . I recommend coming here 10/10.”

“I visited Kingsway Burnaby Sephora to buy my mother’s birthday present and asked the staff for the item, The staff told me to wait and didn’t come, so I asked another staff for help and the staff was very unfriendly, made me feel bad. The staff gave the card machine and force me to pay, I didn't want to buy anything from that staff, I told the staff that I would pay it at the counter, I grab the item and waited in line at the counter. The manager came and asked what was going on, and when I explained the situation, manager didn't listen and ignored me, The manager took the item out of my hand and kicked me out. Insulted me, The Sephora security guard didn’t even see it anything and yells “You can’t come into this store you are life time ben” in front of so many customers. I was with my 5years old nephew when this happened. When I think of the hurt my nephew I can’t even sleep because of it. I don’t know where to write this, so I am writing it here. Please tell me where to write this so this doesn’t happen to other customers. Because it was the worst experience of my life.”
