“Texas Department of Public Safety of Waxahachie issues licenses for Texas residents, whether it be for first-time drivers, renewals, expired licenses, or you are just transferring your license from out of state. In order to obtain a license, you must make an appointment that is easily accessible by going online to the website and scheduling for one. Once you schedule your appointment, you must bring all the required documents with you to the appointment that can be found on the website. Upon entering, you will be asked to fill out any additional paperwork and take a ticket number, and wait for your number to be called by one of the representatives. My only issue is that they make it very difficult and hard for you to obtain a license. There are so many protocols that you have to follow, and I feel it's a lack of trust in today's world. After trying to obtain a TX license for over 5 years and visiting the DPS 4 times and taking all of the online drivers courses, watching the videos, and taking the drivers test 2 times I finally did it and got it. Do I feel that everything I did with my time and money was worth it since I have been driving accident free and ticketless for the last 25 years Was worth it? No, I don't, and I'm really upset about this process because I live in a state where at least 90% of the people on the road break all the rules and absolutely deserve not to have a license but instead I'm the person who had to go through a grueling process of obtaining a license. I'm thankful my license doesn't expire for the next 10 years, and after that, I can easily renew it online for the next time.”

“Overall I had a good experience here, although the wait times can be a little long (but that is to be expected). My main complaint is the hours that they are open. I work over in St. Louis, and most nights I don't even get off work until 6:00pm, which makes it hard for me to find a good time for me to come to the DMV. Luckily, with my first experience here, I was able to come in right when they opened and was out of there within an hour, but I was just getting my license switched from Missouri to Illinois. I still have to get new tags and registration for my new vehicle, but I'm worried about timing and being extremely late for work this time, as I expect this process to take longer than getting a new driver's license. I think they should be open later than 5:30 pm, so that those of us who work later or work far away have an opportunity to come in to do whatever they need to do after work instead of having to rush in the morning. Just something to consider... Edit: After making my second visit there to get my registration and license plates, I definitely think that customers should be able to make appointments here. I showed up at 7:50 am and didn't leave until 10:30 am because they were understaffed. I understand that businesses can sometimes be understaffed, but if that is going to be the case, they should give us the chance to make appointments. There were only 3 people working the front desk, and some of them were taking breaks even though there was a super long line (just for check-in alone). I was 2 hours late to work because of this delay. Luckily, though, once my number was called, I was out the door within 10-15 minutes. Again, just something to consider.”

“Go best way!!! Ive had the same love seat in my front yard wrapped in plastic for over a month they have told me three times they would pick it up. Grass is dead 25$ in plastic wrap wasted, not to mention the garbage bags they leave in my dumpster and all the trash in my yard its like they scatter it when picking up. Piss por service never had these issues out of best way. Do yourself a favor and get anyone but rumpke my town is signing a petition to remove them from our services. Wat a joke email you nice automated response u really care... ive called yall for the past month and a half and still nothing...”

They just like ripping customers off! City of SF sued them for overcharging the City several years ago! And we’ve received money back but we also taxed on it!
