Despite many areas being closed off to the general public (aka tourists, understandably), the bookstore, Cafe and open areas of the building offer more than enough to explore.”

“I think you either like or hate this art museum, located in a giant, white, old wooden building close to the Østerport railway station. I did the mistake of not buying the program of the contemporary part of the current exhibition "Bad Timing", that you can visit from August 26 to October 22, so I did not really understand the intentions of the artists. There is a nice café in the basement and another room below this, where part of the contemporary section of the exhibition is shown. Recommended for the open-minded art museum visitor.”
