Place is always buzzing and I've never managed to get a room here but thankfully there are a few other options in the village. It's a perfect spot to do two beery hiking circuits. I'll get a room here yet!”

“This place is amazing! It is absolutely rammed with items and information relating to the Beatles. Many of the displays feel a little home-made but this is really the beauty of this place - it feels like someone's collection that has got way out of hand. The people behind this place very clearly have a real passion for The Beatles and from the minute I passed through the archway I had a feeling that was a warm (and slightly eccentric) place that I was going to really enjoy. I am only sorry that I didn't have more time as I would have loved to have a beer in the lovely, Beatlsey cafe - but sadly I had a train to catch. A clear highlight for me was playing the Hoefner Bass - it may not have been a highlight for other visitors within earshot though. Absolutely love this place - you will too!”

“The limes museum in Aalen is a great place to visit. You can look through the indoor exhibition on two floors which tells the story of the Romans in and around Aalen as wells as the development and fall of the limes. Besides original and replicat exponats there are lots of modern information displays and interactive visuals. Outdoors your can walk around the remains of the former Roman camp and take a look at a reconstructed barrack. The indoor part is open till 17:00 on most days and you are allowed to stay in the outdoor section even after closing time.”

“Walking through the streets in Cologne on a rainy day, we stumbled upon this Basilica. This is a beautiful Basilica and we enjoyed the architecture, art and quietness of what this Basilica offers. There is so much of history in Germany and this is one of them. We saw many art depicting Christendom and history of Cologne. It is very peaceful to be here. The atmosphere is very reflective and you can pray and mediate as this is what this church is for. We did not had to pay a fee but to respect this place for what it is. We spent about 45 minutes here and moved on. There is also a write up about this Basilica in the front foyer.”

“A visit to this sleepy small village is so nice. Especially if your not the fittest person. You can visit the Eifel Blick, at a ruin and climb the old tower to view the valley. There's a small cafe but we were to late to visit. The ruin is avaliable (but a bit rocky) for people with a wheelchair of buggy or so.”
