“One of the best spots in Tucson. This falls in my top three places to get great coffee in the city. The staff is expert level baristas and know everything from growing, roasting process, brewing process, and customer service. As a self proclaimed coffee snob, this is always in my top coffee shops. Not only is the service fantastic , but the ambiance is amazing too. If ya want a great space for a date, to do work, or just chill…this is it.”

“The paid portion of the state park is really small but it’s really cool. They have a couple houses you can go in and a really cool “power shovel” (shown in pic). The power shovel is actually out of the paid portion of the park. I recommend for seniors bc it’s rly small but all ages can go here. There are events sometimes held on the field that could be cool too.”

Closed until 10:00 AM

2100 N Amerind Rd, Dragoon, AZ 85609, United States

“Phenomenal find. The Amerind is a very underrated museum that needs more love. It is a small, two story museum, with tons of artifacts from different tribes throughout the years. It also contains an art gallery with many works that you can buy. It is mostly run by passionate volunteers, who are the nicest people that you can meet. I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you are anywhere within Cochise County.”

“I absolutely loved my visit to this little art museum. I got a 1:1 guided tour from cowboy docent Lonnie, and it was fantastic. Lonnie holds a wealth of information and intrigue, and as he walks with you through the museum, he enriches the experience of the art tenfold. We discussed technique, style, history, and the feelings that the art evokes. We studied color, historical accuracy, and the artist's intent. I learned so much, and I felt completely comfortable asking questions, proposing ideas, and sharing observations. Lonnie is a gem, and the cowboy art throughout the museum is beautiful and fascinating. I especially like that they've recreated the studios of a couple of the artists and that there's a whole section with historical objects, in addition, of course to the paintings, sculptures, and drawings. Plus there's a whole display about cowgirls, which is a delight! Honestly this was significantly more awesome than I expected, and I encourage anyone who is looking for an art experience that's slightly off the beaten path to make a visit. Thank you, Lonnie and Phippen Museum!”

1030 N Olive Rd, Tucson, AZ 85719, United States

“I recently visited the University of Arizona art center to look at the Linda McCarthy Retrospective. There were many different exhibits about different artists as well as postcards and books to purchase! It was beneficial to be in a building that encouraged creativity and crafts. They also had a smart policy about keeping bags out of the exhibits and provided lockers to keep them safe in the lobby”
