“We had such a fun time visiting Tank! The space and the wines were both really clever and unique and felt like a fresh take on the classic wine tasting experience. The location was conveniently located in Calistoga and we could walk from our hotel. We had such a good time that we joined the wine club!”

Cal Performances
4.7
( 10 reviews )

101 Zellerbach Hall, Berkeley, CA 94720, United States

“I have been going to Cal Performances since I was a kid and I really appreciate the diversity of performers they bring in. There really is something for everyone. I hope they continue on for decades! The arts are so important! Zellerbach is great. They are back to serving alcohol/drinks and snacks. I suppose parking is a negative -- they open the lot under the hall and down by the RSF. I didn't see how much they charge since it was a night show and we were able to find free 2 hour parking on the street but that is something to take into account.”

“Great wine! Great food! Great view! The sangria is amazing. Really good wine. The tomahawk chicken melted my brain. I am not normally one to eat chicken (I’m a beef guy), but this… this masterpiece just blew my mind. It is something I will be craving for a long time. So good. Thinking about getting a membership.”

Visalia Fox Theatre

308 W Main St, Visalia, CA 93291, United States

“Leonid & Friends, Russian Chicago cover band put on a fabulous 3hr show! They were raring to go and a lot of fun! The theatre was the perfect venue for them. It was big enough to seat the large and enthusiastic crowd but small enough to give a quaint warm welcome. It really is a beautiful theatre and the staff and security were professional and kind. Can’t wait for Leonid and his friends to treat us to another visit at the Visalia Fox Theatre!”

Scooter's Jungle Of Valencia
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

28230 Constellation Rd, Valencia, CA 91355, United States

“Hosted my daughter’s 3rd birthday at Scooter’s Jungle. Friends, family, and I had a great time. Positive things about the place is that it is clean, organized, staff was friendly and accommodating, and best part is that it is private for your own guests. The large slide was so fun for both kids and adults. Good thing is there is something offered for all ages to do. Only critique I would say is that it took a little bit long for refills on drinks and serving cake. Maybe could have had two servers. I also wish there was more time for play and food. Parties are 2.5hrs long with 45 mins of eating. I just wish we had more time because it was all so fun. Would recommend this place for birthday parties!”

Games range from 7-30 tokens. Next door is a Food Lab, a popular food court. Plenty of parking is available, there are several public parking structures around downtown Riverside.”

The San Francisco Mint
4.5
( 10 reviews )

88 5th St, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States

“I've gone here for a few different events including a Halloween haunted house and 2022 NYE party. It's a beautiful building with amazing architecture. I got to explore 23 different rooms that got decorated during NYE and the spaciousness of the place made it feel safer during times in where we have to be 6ft apart for health concerns.”

Mingei International Museum
4.6
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

Balboa Park, Plaza de Panama, 1439 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101, United States

“This is a fascinating museum. We have visited twice, and both times been amazed at exhibits. Paper art from Japan was pretty astounding, but in particular paper "lace" with amazing detail. The museum's restaurant was equally fabulous, with meals from many cultures. The board room features a long wood table and chairs that reflect the artistry of woodworking. This place is a visual treat and should not be missed if strolling Balboa Park. Wheelchair access was quite straightforward as well.”

Marcus Book Stores
4.8
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

3900 Martin Luther King Jr Way, Oakland, CA 94609, United States

“When I entered Marcus Books (we went there immediately after I flight landed in SF), I felt like I'd arrived home. I approached the front counter and asked the lady behind the desk if she was the owner. Her response, "Yes, I'm one of them." When I told her that I LOVE the bookstore, she said, "It loves you back." What an amazing store, the selection is broad and comprehensive, featuring multiple genres by and about Black ppl. I limited myself to 3 books and nothing else, which was a deal I had to make with myself before entering!! LOL! The feeling of being in a bookshop that's been around since the 1960s is indescribable. I love, love, love it. Thanks for all you do, Marcus Books.”

Closed until 10:00 AM

2150 Newcomb Ave, San Francisco, CA 94124, United States

“This place is AMAZING! Specifically, if you're a crafter or an artist. There is so much to see! I probably could have gone through the whole place 5 times and still wouldn't have seen everything. Make sure you don't take someone that isn't a natural browser or explorer - you'll regret it if you do. The items they stock are incredibly varied and pretty well organized once you understand their system. They get a lot of donations from companies cleaning out their warehouses, so some items are commercial grade and unopened. There's many materials that are simply unavailable to consumers, so that's a major bonus too. The sheer amount of variety can be overwhelming so go in with a plan. The entire store is a well of inspiration. Prices are fantastic, which is amazing considering a vintage pair of non Levi's in SF runs about $450. If you live locally, you can take advantage of some really cool classes they offer that are taught by real artists - some are well known even. Don't delay a trip to this amazing shop containing a cornucopia of curious and delightful goods!”

Delicato Family Wines Tasting Room
4.6
( 16 reviews )
Closed until 09:00 AM

12001 CA-99, Manteca, CA 95336, United States

“I was told by my dispatcher that the shipping and receiving opens at 09:00. I was told differently once I got here. I was told at 5 in the morning. I guess there's a line of trucks waiting. The bathrooms are clean, and there's two of them. Snacks and soda machine as well. The amount of room to back up is huge, none of these tight spots. Overall, it's simple on truckers. They definitely thought about making this place easy on truckers.”

“We saw James Garner in a Johnny Cash tribute show. Very impressive and a fun show. The theater looks wonderful too with very nice folks working there. Had a wonderful time at the show and loved the music.”
