“Love this place. 2nd tattoo done with artist Sam. Love her work. I have several scars on my arms. People always focus their eyes on them. Sam was able to create some awesome work to hide my scars and have peoples focus go to my ink and not my scars. Already have another session set for more tattoos. Highly recommend this place to all. Great people, great service and overall great vibe in there.”

At&t Performing Arts Center

“A stunning and world-class PAC. It's just beautiful. The seats are comfortable, the staff is gracious, helpful, and friendly, and it is just an extraordinary experience all around. The views of the stage are spectacular! The location is perfect and easily accessible, and parking and leaving after is not stressful with the very well organized system they have in place. We loved everything in this amazing performing arts center.”

“I had the best experience here! One of the employees that really stood out was a sweet young lady, named Maya! She was working the ninja warrior ball pit! She was so sweet and so kind to the children! She helped the children over and over to get onto different equipment! She really made this a five-star experience!”

Mean Eyed Cat

1621 W 5th St, Austin, TX 78703, United States

“What an absolute gem of a place! We visited one afternoon back in late May, during our first visit to Austin, and this was an oasis in the middle of a busy, hot city. We were immediately greeted by the friendliest bartender and entered an authentic space, the atmosphere just right. When asked for beverage recommendations, the bartender, whose name unfortunately escapes me, easily provided great options after asking a few key questions regarding our tastes. We initially sat inside to cool down and just enjoy our surroundings, but after a while, we moved to the outside area, which is also cosy, and, I suspect it would be even more so after sunset. I would have loved to visit again, but unfortunately we only had a short stay in Austin. But I can easily say that this is my favourite place in that city and one of my all-time favourite bar visits.”

419 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701, United States

“A small yet impactful museum full of wonderfully curated art. Had the pleasure of visiting during the "Dia de Los Muertos" / "Day of the Dead" Exhibition. Went on a Sunday, and admission was free, but I left a donation, and it was appreciated. Would highly recommend a partonship to this museum if a local or visiting Austin - it's small so it won't take all day.”

“Really impressed with the way they have set up this place. The $10 entrance fee was well worth it. There are a lot of interactive elements! If you have kids, they'll love all the stuff you can touch. If you're a history lover, you'll leave not only with a better understanding of Texas history but also some interesting locals' stories.”

Abilene Convention Center

Closed until 08:00 AM

1100 N 6th St, Abilene, TX 79601, United States

“Always love coming to this place but there needs to be more accessible entrances for the disabled. We went to the feast of sharing on Tuesday and my mom whom is disabled had to get out of line just to go use the ramp and we ended up losing our place in line several times. There were others using wheelchairs and walkers having the same issue.”

The Grace Museum

( 16 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

102 Cypress St, Abilene, TX 79601, United States

“What a beautiful museum! Small, but I love being able to see inside the old hotel. There are art galleries on the first two floors, a super fun kid's space on the second floor, and more local history on the third. I really enjoyed it and learning more about Abilene! The original train station is right across the street and several of the storybook character statues are in the immediate area. There is dedicated parking for the museum, "behind" the hotel (opposite from the front corner entrance), both covered and uncovered. I found plenty of street parking as well right on the corner. There's a coffee shop and restaurant nearby that looked like they were serving at 10 am.”

The Concourse Project
4.4
( 8 reviews )

8509 Burleson Rd, Austin, TX 78719, United States

“I wasnt sure what to expect when going but it was great! parking lot is small but we were able to get good parking. when we left i saw people parked along the road and not sure what else. right across the street is a gas station, semmed very convenient. Inside is like a giant warehouse and it was kind of cold in there. Theres select seating along the sides of the giant floor that looks like the seats you see when you reserve a table with bottle service. half were open to the public and half roped off (closest to the stage). The lighting and sound were excellent. Someone really spent time on dialing that in. Theres a bar in the back. My only complaint was the beer selection. There was maybe like 10 canned choices which werent terrible but im also a little picky with my beer. what i thought was great was that there was an equal selection of non alcoholic drinks. i loved that. staff was very good and polite. The restrooms are by the entrance, down a couple of halls. Where the 2 hallways meet are sliding doors to the back. i didnt go back there but did look out and the border of the back were a bunch of food trailers with gates between them and picnic tables. At the event i went to they werent open but that where anyone went to smoke or just hang out without the music being too loud. I really liked it!”

“We visited the George Washington Museum during the Austin Art Studio Tour 2023. This was a group show for the artists who are on the tour. Project Row Houses
4.7
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

2521 Holman St, Houston, TX 77004, United States

“It's a collective of artists that showcase history, culture, and Houston living. Typically it only showcases 5 house, the remaining house are used to be renovated or for living of families. It is quite hot outside during the events in July. So bring personal fan, or you can participate in their drive-by version of the exhibit. Being that exhibits rotate each year with different themes. It's hard to pinpoint every idea. But if you do come on opening day you can speak with the artist and their thought process in curating their live sculptures. This is a historical area in Houston for context it might not look the best for some of the hipsters who are used to neighborhood gentrification.”

Hard Rock Cafe
3.9
( 8 reviews ) $$

2211 N Houston St, Dallas, TX 75219, United States

“Hostess was welcoming but restaurant was empty maybe this was the sign this wasn't a place to eat. We arrived around 6:00 pm. Returned around 8:00 pm, place was still empty compared to other restaurants we visited around there such as Dicks and House of Blues. In spite of, we ate here based on past experiences at other Hard Rock Cafe. I ordered a medium rare steak, however, it was made well done. They took it back but end up waiting up to an hour. By than my brother and BF were finish eating. The waiter was not attentive. I had to go look for him to pay for check. Since they took my whole plate back, I left hungry. The establishment wasn't ideal but we were kind about the lack of professionalism.”
