The Glasshouse International Centre For Music
4.6
( 8 reviews )

St Mary's Square, Gateshead NE8 2JR, United Kingdom

“Very beautiful venue. Attended today for a graduation ceremony, and I was really impressed with the building. It's beautiful inside. Parking was a little bit of an issue, but I was helped by a lovely, friendly gentleman who directed me and provided me with a ticket due to having my disabled daughter with me and exchanged it for a free pass. The car park did say it was full however it wasn't- that's why I am not awarding 5 stars. The staff inside the venue were lovely and helpful too. No complaints. Toilets were lovely and clean. Lots of disabled access, too.”

Collingwood Monument

Tynemouth, North Shields NE30 4DD, United Kingdom

“Nice monument and was used in an episode of TV series Vera in an early series. From there you can take a nice walk along the river Tyne towards the port and there are plenty of seats along the pathway. Also it is right next to the Tynemouth Priory, which is also worth a visit. There is free car parking right next to it.”

Hatton Gallery

King's Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QB, United Kingdom

“The current seasonal exhibit is a bit disappointing. The very abstract industrial look of art. The rest of the art is not that impressive either. Some handmade artworks mostly focus on demonstrating the shape of the material, the paintings are just too obscure. However, it is still a nice and neat small gallery (only one floor, take stairs or elevator) to walk around that is connected to the campus.”
