“This place should be called A Ghetto Massage. 1) When I got there, nobody was at the desk to greet me. Which is not that bad but it seemed off because I almost thought they were closed. 2) I went into the massage room and there were two beds with a curtain partition. Initially I believed it was just a couple’s massage room and they let me have the room to myself for my massage. Eventually halfway through my massage, they drew the curtain and had another customer in there (older male) as well. I knew he was male because I heard him speaking and then he was moaning while getting his massage. It was VERY unsettling and uncomfortable as I was clotheless just on the other side of this curtain. Every massage parlor I’ve been to had had private rooms. 3) The table was not clean. I laid down and I saw hair and a skin flake on the face pillow. I asked them to replace the linen and all that the masseuse did was lay down a paper towel. Unsanitary!!! 4) They had no music playing and there was a washing machine running in the next room. I had to ask them a few times to turn on music (which was played from a cell phone) and cut the washing machine off. 5) During my massage, the woman was very rough. I understand roughness is relative, but even after I told her she was too rough, she continued to be. I was getting jostled, she was moving extremely fast and pounding my skin. It was NOT relaxing. 5) I was not very satisfied with my massage. I was only going to tip $5 and then she pulled a sign out that said “15% gratuity is mandatory”. I just paid the $92 and left. I will never go back and I don’t recommend anyone with standards of cleanliness and relaxation go either.”
