“I love LaVida! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years and still love it. I’ve learned living without massage is a non-negotiable for me so their subscription makes it much more affordable to come multiple times a month. I love that the memberships offer a discount for coming more than once a month. Staff has always gone above and beyond with customer service and very professional. I prefer a deep tissue/more firm type of massage, if that’s your style I love Jessica and Rene. They’re both able to really workout some kinks. Also Sam at the front desk has always been so awesome and professional - thank you everybody there that make this an enjoyable experience each visit!”

“Hot House Spa was a relaxing get away within a busy part of Seattle. Private bookings let you enjoy the spa and fully relax without others around. Hot House was extremely clean and private. Towels, water, and music available. Lockers allow you to lock away your items. Includes a relaxation area, steam sauna, dry sauna, hot tub, and very cold shower to cool down so you can repeat the cycle. We did a 2 hour session and it didn't feel too long. I would highly recommend.”

“Spa Noir is simply amazing. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the experience will be top notch. I scheduled a 90-minute massage with Phil, who I have not had a massage with before. He was friendly, professional, and took time to address my problem areas. I had sore shoulders and upper back… and voila! No more. Thank you so much Phil!! I also scheduled a 75-minute facial with Melody, and this was my second facial with her. Melody is wonderful and gave me such a relaxing facial… I dozed in and out of sleep a few times. My skin feels so refreshed, and I left the spa with some great products recommended by Melody. Eminence skincare has been a great addition to many of the other products I use and is truly a high quality skincare line! Thank you Spa Noir for making my holiday season!”

“My partner and I went here for massages and had a sub-par experience, mostly due to personal preference. I wish there had been an option for a massage oil instead of lotion, because I found the sensation of being slathered with so much lotion really gross and felt sticky for the entire day afterward. I love having my scalp massaged but that also meant that some lotion got in my hair too. While I chose the fragrance-free lotion, my partner went with the orange blossom scent. The fragrance stayed on his skin and clothing even after a shower and washing that item of clothing, which bothered my nose and struck me as concerning given that I try to be really careful about avoiding endocrine-disrupting chemicals like artificial fragrance and whatever else may have been in that lotion. Neither of us liked the face rests on the massage tables. I was hoping for a more relaxing massage, which I indicated on the pretty long form they had us fill out, but ended up with more of a PT-style massage that was painful at times (to be fair I could have spoken up more). The spa experience was nice and the staff were friendly, but for future massages I’ll stick to private practice massage therapists given that it’s a similar cost for a better experience. Also, this wasn’t the staff’s fault but rather the system that this company uses - the booking process was really confusing and I didn’t receive an automated confirmation email. I eventually got an email from someone at the front desk and had to coordinate with them directly. It sketched me out a little at first and I was worried I’d been scammed.”

“A lovely little spa in the middle of the city. So relaxing from the moment you walk in the door, the staff is always very nice and very helpful, the facilities are kept very clean, and the hydrotherapy area is such nice experience. And although I haven’t had a massage with every therapist I’ve been to quite and few and they each have a unique flair but all have something very good to offer.”
