“Had an absolutely amazing experience at this spa today. The two ladies at the reception were very friendly and accommodating. I opted for the deep tissue massage with Linda and I cannot begin to tell you how amazing my body feels right now. I was so impressed with how Linda was able to identify parts of my body that had a real build up of tension without being told. Linda made sure she spent adequate time addressing these areas accordingly. Linda was very kind and empathetic in her communication which really made me feel at ease especially as it was my first time attending. I can tell she is well experienced and knowledgeable in her craft and I look forward to another session.”

“It saddens me to say, but I am utterly disappointed with the massage I received on Sunday 1st October 2023. It was from someone who I have never seen before. I felt inappropriately touched (just finger tips but still inappropriate) and I did not like the way I was shaken up and down on the bed whilst laying on my front and then my bottom being shaken too. I understand massages and I totally understand various Thai techniques but this was not it. I did express discomfort to my therapist as I was feeling a lot of pain rather than relaxation and she just replied "Yes, it's hard". This whole experience made me tense and unease, silly enough I remained in the session to see how it went. I didn't address this because I felt awkward and just wanted to get out. I have now removed my posts on social media which was promoting this place and unfortunately neither will I be returning. My past experiences have been GREAT but this has put me off completely. My room was awfully cold too! I only gave it a rating because otherwise I wouldn't be able to post!”

“Just had a wonderful Signature Thai Retreat: 60 minutes Thai massage and 30 minutes Foot Massage. The woman at the front desk listened to my medical issues and recommended Patrick. All staff were very friendly and worked really hard to give all of us the best experience. My favourite part of the package was the scrub. Boy it felt good getting those dead skin off. I felt rejuvenated and fresh. The place would be cleaned regularly so the place felt really hygienic. The first impressions were welcoming, warm and homely. I would happily go there again. “I’m sad to say I had an awful and expensive experience with this salon. Awful hair colouring, I asked for an ombré and came out the hairdresser with orange and grey tone stripes. I had to return and get the front of my hair fixed as the highlights at the front were grey and different in shade to the rest of my hair. I still had to pay £60 to correct their mistake. Looking over other peoples disappointing experiences getting colour at this salon I relate to everything they are saying and it’s clear it was not a one of mistake. More training is needed. This is my hair before having it fixed at a different salon.”

“I've been here multiple times. The thermal spa is a nice way to relax after a long week. You can book in 2hour slots. Sessions are usually mixed male and female but if you prefer females only then they have female only sessions on Fridays. The spa has multiple steam rooms and wet and dry saunas. If you're brave enough take a plunge in the ice cold pool. After you have finished sweating off your stress in the different rooms you can relax on the loungers in the relaxation room enjoying a nice cold free beverage to soothing music. They provide slippers, bathrobe and towel as well as a key and padlock for the lockers. Will be back again and again.”

“Worse nail salon ever. It’s under new management and they have NO CLUE about what they are doing. Been coming here for 7 years and had no complaint was amazing when Richard and Amy was the owners. The guy who did my toes basically cut all my toe nail off and didn’t clean it properly, left a lot of dead skin and dry skin. Toe nails were cut crooked. Not to mention he kept going back in even after the nail was painted. Absolutely ridiculous. As for my nails the powder was wayyy too thick and even the pain design was way too thick. Second time I tried since under new management and this time was even worse. Should have never bothered giving them another chance. So annoyed I have to find a new nail salon after coming here for 7 years. Before I was happy paying more than what other nail salons charge because of the quality but there’s no quality at all now and they still want to charge the same as before?? Audacity. Never going back again. Save your money and time”

“Unbelievably rude North African staff, crummy facilities, strangely smelling and poorly lit. Gulag-level service standards by mostly young ‘hood teenagers with lots of swag but zero professional training. Ridiculously overpriced for what they offer at almost £30 a pop. Impossible to book anything on the website and no one ever picks up the phone when you call them, the reception staff apparently always glued to their mobile phones. They also won’t give any coins necessary to use the lockers. No towels any longer provided either. Such a horrendously mismanaged and poorly maintained place despite a lot of potential as a historic building.”

“Where to start, this one is a mixed bag. The thermal Spa basically consists of a hot tub for four, a shower, a sauna and a steam room. The hot tub wasn't very hot. The sauna and steam room were good if you could get a seat. It was super busy and honestly was very male dominated. Not very relaxing as the lads were in groups of 2-4 and talking very loudly. It didn't feel very luxurious or zen. The relaxation room upstairs is actually quite nice, however like I said it was very busy and the whole time I was there, not one of the beds were changed with fresh towels or blankets. A bit grim really as all of the towels on the bed were wet and the blankets damp and used. I managed to find a clean blanket and curled up on the cocoon chair. It saya cold and hot drinks are provided but in reality there was cold water in dispensers and an urn, but no tea bags, so you had a choice of hot or cold water 😐 The treatment rooms however were fantastic. Spacious rooms, big comfy massage beds and one of the best massages I've ever had. I would go back for a treatment, but I wouldn't waste money on the spa.”
