“First i visited this place and i had fun. Located just next to Isetan Shinjuku. I got a ticket on second show and it came with drink all you can, although you may not be able to drink that much when the show starts. There are drinks and ice on the tackle so you can make your own drink during the show like high ball or lemon sour. Did not get to order food as i did not know i had to order by a certain time. They took the menu away i guess not to disturb the show. At any rate it was good. No videos but pictures are allowed. Will come back with friends.”

“This isn’t a place for Indians, they say it’s an Indian restaurant but it’s only made for non-Indians and the staff also seems to be from Nepal and they don’t seem quite welcoming, everyone looks at you with a poker face. The food is tasteless, their staff doesn’t serve even masala papad on time and has 0 idea about Indian hospitality. Worst thing is, they serve sushi plates to eat food. For crying out loud this is an Indian restaurant how can you serve food in sushi plates??? If you’re an Indian reading this please do not go to this restaurant, your blood will only boil after going here since this restaurant is a shame on Indian hospitality.”

We made reservation to seat on the bar( recommended by my friend) where you can directly communicate with chef to learn about how the meals are made. Come experience it yourself, my word can’t describe it enough.”

“This restaurant is upstairs. They do ask if you have reservations, but arrive right at opening time and good luck to get seated. Very friendly staff and great foods to match! No need to be expert at Japanese but a translation app does help a lot to understand the menu and to communicate any requests. Food arrives at a steady pace like mini courses after ordering. Lively atmosphere and great foods and drinks!”

“We wanted to eat Unagi so much that we picked this restaurant with good reviews. It is not strategically located and we relied on taxi to bring us here. It has a very traditional Japanese dining setting, the dinning table and chair are placed on tatami mat. Ordered a set each of the 2-pcs Yanamabushi set and 3-pcs Unaju set. Each set comes with soup, green veggie and a small dish of mushrooms. The delicious of kabayaki are grilled to perfection, it is basted in a savoury and not overpowering sweet sauce. The fillet is very soft and fluffy, pleasant on the-palate and without a fishy or earthy aftertaste. The highlight of the dinner is the grilled eel livers skewer, kimoyaki. It has a distinctive succulent texture and paired well with sake. The environment here is pleasant and staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The staff even assisted to call a taxi for us after the dinner. Two thumbs up to this excellent restaurant.”

You can choose the noodle hardness, topping amount, and complement the bowl with a variety of condiments, like fresh garlic, garlic chips, spicy vegetables, etc. I opted for the chashu with half-boiled egg for 950¥ and an extra order of noodles at 100¥. Worth a visit, but be prepared to wait, as there are only 12 countertop seats.”

“Jax really loved this place and so did I. We had our hotel book ahead - which is needed as we saw a number of people turned away who didn't have a booking. The food was unreal, service was great, atmosphere was up there! Very happy experience. We were sat at the counter, which is always the best to experience a location like this so try to ask for that spot when booking (only for couples of individuals) Favourite picks were the rolled ginger pork and the seasonal local vegetable in vinegar.”
