We ordered pide and some grill, the plate are huge, we were so full. Some people said the aircon is so cold so you might want to bring a jacket with you but you feel warm after the delicious food. The only thing is the place was a Chinese restaurant and they still keep the furniture (i think) as I can see some round tables there, this makes the place less Turkish, when it is busy, it is very loud inside. “The two pretty ladies who run this joint are polite, friendly and helpful. We booked online for a Sunday evening, and when we arrived our table was waiting for us, positioned near the screen that had been set up for the Trivia Night. As it was a Sunday night, the menu was quite limited with the main option being the roast beef, plus a few burgers and fish dishes. We chose calamari and roast beef. The roast beef came with a huge and fluffy Yorkshire pud and a nice selection of fresh vegetables but the meat was too undercooked for my liking. The calamari was also a tad too soft, I prefer mine a bit more chewy. The seating plan is entirely outdoors but undercover, with no indoor options. This setup is perfect for spring or summer dining, allowing guests to watch the bustling activity along Little Stanley Street. However, it may not be as suitable in winter. On the night we visited, the Trivia Night drew a good crowd, creating a lively and fun atmosphere. The venue's location in the heart of the South Bank dining precinct also added to the vibrant ambience. The wooden tables are sturdy and easily able to fit drinks and meals, while the upholstered leather chairs are quite comfortable. The venue's toilets are located behind the establishment, accessible through a glass door. There are separate, clean, and well-maintained male and female facilities. We didn’t drive this time, so I couldn't comment on the parking situation, but from the South Bank ferry terminal it's an easy 15 minute level walk through the South Bank parklands and restaurant precinct. Overall, for those who enjoy trivia or comedy with their meal, this could be a good option.”

“Visited around 8am during the week and though a few other customers, we were served almost instantly and luckily hadn’t had to queue. The display of pies especially, though also cakes and other goodies, is extensive. If I were a pie eater (at 8am?!🤣) then I would’ve opted for one as they had great appeal. I have also heard they do a prawn & snapper fish pie here which is the nuts so perhaps I’ll pop back in another time to grab one of those. I wanted to pop in here for a while as my partner had been going on about it and I was not disappointed. A really beautiful bakery offering delectable treats of all kinds. I tried the Ham & Cheese Croissant and partner had a brekkie wrap with bacon eggs and salad (both heated up). The croissant was golden, plump and crunchy in all the right ways. The cheese that resided inside was rich and creamy, accompanying the thick cuts of butchers ham perfectly. Delicious to say the least. Coffee was also on point. Partner finished his wrap in all of about 3 seconds so I wasn’t able to photograph it but given he ate it the way he did, I’d say it was also very nice. Parking is scarce with maybe 2/3 spaces right out front so that may be an issue but it’s a bakery, you likely won’t be waiting long for a spot or have any problems parking briefly alongside the petrol station. 🥐”

Great Atmosphere, comfortable and relaxing with great air flow and subdued lighting inside or plenty of outside tables if you prefer. Staff were friendly and helpful, more so the older staff members, but most younger people don't interact with people as well, it comes with experience and comfort in their position. My main meal and coffee were wonderful, dessert was a little less impressive, need more flavour or something. While nice it didn't reach the level of the main meal. Some places are just not as good for desserts. I had the Chickpea Curry and was thrilled with the flavour combinations. I ordered the Buttermilk Pana Cotta with blood orange granita for dessert. Will definitely return.”
