“While visiting the ruins of the Roman baths in Baia, I saw, at the southern end of the park, the nice terrace of a restaurant. We decided to have lunch there. This is how we arrived at Locanda Atipica. We were asked if we had a reservation - so if you go there, it's good to book in advance. The interior is quite cozzy, chic. I noticed quite a large number of waiters, so customers are not bored with a long wait, but they need to decide quickly what they want to order. The food is very tasty, full of goodness, well prepared, I must admit. Probably, the restaurant tends to receive Michelin stars, which can explain the small weight of the portions, as well as their "peppery" price. On the negative side, a certain waiter left us with an unpleasant impression, because he took our plates from in front of us while we were still eating... It was as if it was an "invitation" to leave the place as soon as possible. At the allegedly high level, from all points of view, of the restaurant, something like this is unacceptable. Therefore, a more thorough training of the staff is required. Just as it would be desirable to eliminate a practice that is still quite widespread in the region: dishes without a clearly displayed price, which were presented orally by waiters, or written on a blackboard, but still without a price. Beyond the less pleasant aspects, there remains the experience of a chic restaurant, where the food - though spartan in proportion and inversely proportional relative to the price - is delicious.”

“Amazing! Most delicious meal this trip to Italy! We stopped in for lunch, after getting a recommendation to eat from a local shop keeper. Be sure to come before 3pm, or after 7pm— we were able to catch them for lunch on our second attempt! We had the black truffle and pepper pasta, and the ricotta ravioli. Everything was super delicious and a treat for the palate. Service was excellent. We had the ricotta cheesecake for dessert, and it was equally delicious! Thank you!”

We were in Vietri for 8 nights and we ate at La Fattoria 3 of the nights!!! The food is delicious. Home cooked and fresh. They always served extra appetizers on the house. We got pasta every night because it’s just so good. The seafood seemed to be their speciality (everyone was ordering the seafood pasta dishes). The house wine is phenomenal. And so affordable!! For three of us with a bottle of wine and way too much food, the bill was never more than €50. Don’t skip the dessert. From fresh fruit to homemade tiramisu, you won’t be disappointed. And the limoncello is the best you will find. It’s homemade and perfection. We bought a bottle to take with us. Oh and the view. It’s gorgeous. Something that you can just stare out at for an entire evening. Even if you have to drive out of the way for this restaurant, do it! You will be grateful :)”

Super service, and they even have a free shuttle car to the local Sorrento hotels. We walked there but it’s a bit of a walk, especially in the dark I would recommend to take their car back.”
