The food and drinks were delicious and the service really friendly and helpful. Cash only so be prepared before you make the trip to the waterfall so that you can stop after for something to eat. Couldn't recommend enough!”

We went as a group of 7 and had such a good time that we came back the next day and the day after. Reservations were no problem and I really cant relate to some of the negativity in other reviews. “While the food was decent and the variety of pizza options wide (e.g. the summer pizza with melon was great!), I somewhat didn’t feel very welcome at this spot. Earlier that day I tried to call the restaurant for reservation, but the call was twice immediately hung up. My sister then personally went to the restaurant to ask. She was told that they’re fully booked and there’s no chance to get a table that day. Half hour later we all met in the city and went there to try one last time and we got a table within 10 minutes. When we were leaving, half of the restaurant was still completely empty, and only the outside terrace was full. This left me quite baffled.”

“really good place for traditional austrian food for good prices as well! generous portions and really friendly staff :) abit out of the city centre but considering how small innsbruck is, it’s not even that far. definitely worth it to make a trip down here if you’re looking for traditional tyrolean fare. would recommend the grostl! schnitzel is also probably the best one i’ve eaten in austria (usually i avoid them cause they’re dry but this one is good!)”

“I've been coming to this place for many years now, with a group of friends and family members. It's located at the top of the skiing piste with a great view all around. Inside is a restaurant with delicious, local food (you simply have to try their legendary Kaiserschmarren!). The atmosphere is informal and relaxed. I can fully recommend making a stop (or better, many stops) here when visiting Nesselwängle.”

“The pancake soup sounds kind of strange but wow was it amazing!! I ordered the blood sausage entree and it was… different. I thought it was going to come out as a sausage but it was presented as more like a corned beef hash. It was interestingly tasty but I wouldn’t order it again. The sauerkraut was good! Food came out fairly fast. Waiter was nice but he could have been more welcoming.”
