“A pre-dinner, pre- wine bar visit before a spot in my favourite wine bar is available. Very attentive staff and a good Rioja wine I enjoyed with some manchego cheese. Some bread would have been nice with it. Instead the cheese just came as is in slices. Maybe a nice small antipasti or cheese plate for one would be nice. Pricing is unfortunately very steep. Hence I only stayed for some cheese and a glass of wine. Generally it doesn't faze me to come here for dinner, since pricing is just too much. The atmosphere was quite nice, good music, a few tables in the side room taken. Main dining area was busy. It's missing for me the right components to make it worthwhile in terms of menu and tapas.”

Arrived there and had me booked for the day after,no vacancy. The kind lady found me a bed at new place which was close and not bad at all. Nevertheless the Elisenhof looked great,farm looking hotel and the restaurant was crowded with local people,pitty I couldnt stay. Nice rural area. On my next visit I will confirm the booking.”

“Went for dinner after a long day with a very hungry stomach. Read raving reviews and was really looking forward to dinner. Restaurant was classy and tastefully decorated. Waiters were great but the waiting time to the food was very very long. After 1hr and 20min, i only managed to have my starter and entree. The restaurant did not look that busy for that long a waiting time. I wish my bread was at least topped up considering the very long wait to the main course. I had the chef’s platter of various types of fish and risotto. The food was delicious but nothing that outstanding that i would expect from a fine dining experience.”

“An exceptional restaurant in a very cozy and familiar atmosphere. There is sufficient, free parking space opposite the restaurant. You will be welcomed and served in a friendly manner. I find the small games that are laid out on the individual tables very original to help you spend time with loved ones and a sociable evening. This automatically makes the “waiting time” for the food fly by. Great praise to the kitchen and the chef, who makes personal recommendations of the house and responds very individually to the needs of each individual. We would definitely like to come back! A small highlight in the Erzgebirge, where you feel comfortable right from the start.”
