Everyone working and even the customers where all super friendly. The place is impeccably clean, and places to set and eat inside or outside (covered umbrella's). My lord, do they pike the meat on. The bread is delivered fresh daily, they have 12 very unique dressings / sandwhich spreads (check the photos out for sauce list. Check out the Pic of the refrigerator where you check out, it's stocked full of tall boys from local brewers (I.E. 4hands, citywide, vacation dad, etc....).”

“We had a delicious dinner at Ventana. We live out of town and we’re here on a vacation, and we remembered how good it was the last time we visited here. Emma was our server and she took great care of us and made some good suggestions. We had their 16 oz. Prime rib with loaded mashed potatoes, the wedge salad, and the homemade chicken Alfredo with Cajun seasoning. Both were delicious and we left completely stuffed. We also had their white wine sangria which was delicious. We highly recommend!”

They offer flights so you don’t have to choose just one. The food was high class restaurant quality. We didn’t go to Hermann just for lunch but we probably will next time. Doxie Slush was worth the drive from St. Peters!”

“What a treat this place was! I had fish tacos which, on that particular day, were shrimp. The shrimp were huge, easily 21-25, well seasoned and plentiful.. There wasn't anything about the dish that wasn't full of flavor and flavor surprises. One of my dining companions had steak nachos, which were mounded on a plate, covered in slices of cooked just right steak, My other dining companion opted for a salad also with steak, cooked a perfect light pink, and heaped in a bowl. We didn't do much sharing because I was too selfish with my fish tacos, they were that delicious. Our service was tremendous. We were there during a busy lunch, and our server never missed a thing. I'm very sorry I can't remember the young lady's name but she was pleasant, efficient, humorous and attentive. To add icing to the cake, the prices were very reasonable, particularly given the portions that were served. I plan on going again and again.”

“The only time I went to Palacana was back in March 2022, and the place went by the name of “Paleterias Tropicana”. Palacana is known for serving homemade, authentic Mexican ice cream, paletas, fruit cocktails, smoothies, churros, and traditional Mexican lunch & dinner dishes. When I went to Palacana (formerly called Paleterias Tropicana), I was impressed with seeing how many flavors of ice cream and sorbet sold there. Palacana is truly a chain of Mexican paleterias with 5 locations in the Kansas City metropolitan area, and one location in Wichita, KS. Palacana as “Paleterias Tropicana” was founded in 2004 and the Southwest Boulevard location is Palacana’s original flagship store. The menu at Palacana has a little bit of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a wide variety of every kind of Mexican dessert that a typical paleteria may serve. When I went to Palacana that was known as “Paleterias Tropicana” in March 2022, I ordered the Strawberry and Cheese ice cream flavor and it tasted what it sounded like which was strawberries mixed with cheese, but it was almost similar to a Strawberry Cheesecake. The place had good service, and the ice cream I ordered taste great. If customers are looking for a Mexican ice cream parlor with a wide variety of desserts along with frozen dessert flavors that also has a snack bar inside, Palacana would be the place for people to visit.”

“My son and I visited this restaurant yesterday and I was blown away by their customer service, quality of food, value for the money, attentiveness and sincere attention to detail. Selby is an absolute gem 💎. I mean it, she was bright, cheery and helpful. Her beautiful spirit just envelops you as soon as you walk in the door 🚪. She knows the menu inside and out and made great suggestions that took the meal over the top for me. My son and I got a cheese pizza slice with sundried tomatoes, spinach, onions 🌰, jalapeños and cream cheese 🧀 and a pepperoni slice. I also got a side salad 🥗. It was heavenly. The food was so good I began to devour it before I could even get a picture. Sorry about that y'all. The crust is thin so you really get to enjoy the toppings. The slices are HUGE. They cut it for you so you can easily pick it up and enjoy. I highly recommend this spot not only for the bomb a#$ pizza (easily one of the best in town) but for the superb customer service and experience they provide. When you pay them a visit tell Selby I said "hey girl hey" and make sure to tip her - she deserves it. Run don't walk for some of the best pizza ever. You're welcome!!!!”

We decided to place an order for pickup and upon driving the 9 minutes home, our food was far from impressive. The lasagna was more of a soup than a baked pasta dish. I will say it was my mistake for not reading all the ingredients in the rigatoni carbonara as it had black olives in it (I have never seen black olives in a carbonara) but this was my mistake and I can’t leave a review on the taste. However I have attached a picture of both in case any one also missed the black olives. Hope you enjoy the lasagna soup better than we did.”

We ordered: toasted ravioli, side salads, tortellini, I don’t recall the last dishes name- I think it was the combo pasta, and the cannoli We received: bread/rolls and oil with capers and seasoning My only complaints: I feel the oil could use some more flavor (I hate to compare it but Anthony’s oil is way better and maybe expecting that type of flavor in the oil is why it was so different). And my toasted ravioli came to the table very light in my opinion (however they tasted very good) The combo pasta has manicotti, lasagna, and a ravioli on a bed of pasta and we chose the alla panna (sp??) which is the Alfredo and marinara mixed sauce. The sauce is definitely YUMMY. However I can’t say I would get that dish again on my own (I shared it with my daughter). The side salad was good and the toasted ravioli I would get again and ask for them to be a bit darker. My friend and her daughter had the tortellini, side salad and cannoli and said she would get it all again. Our server was aware of the menu and made suggestions which is always helpful and appreciated. I would definitely return.”

“We came here for late night happy hour with a group of friends. The food & beer was great and our service was pretty good too. Only knocked it down because they sat our group at the weirdest round table in a room that was abnormally hot compared to the rest of the brewery and when we asked if we could move they said they did have any other spots open for us but it was pretty empty? Since we all were burning up we were rushing to leave but otherwise a good visit. Would probably just request to sit at the bar next time.”
