This place used to not be on my radar but after other places in town switched ownership a decade ago, their quality faultered and so I came to Fong Sho. If you want Chinese in & around Assen, this is the place to go. Their menu offers a lot of options to everyone's taste from the oriental kitchen. If you're vegetarian you might want to look at the menu yourself beforehand because there aren't a lot of options. The prices are reasonable and offer both more feast-like options as well as more modest tableside menus where you can pick 3 mains and have a choice between noodles, fried rice or plain white rice as a side. All in all, a very varied and qualitatively solid place.”
