The cooks were hustling and bustling while the owner, (im assuming the owner), welcomed us in with a huge smile! Massive menu- Homemade! Tons of options (breakfast, lunch, dinner) with yummy descriptions. Healthy/lighter options also! Cleanliness- Super clean, spacious, no bathroom btw Price- Everything was well worth it because of the quality and heart they put in. “This is a cute little Greek family-owned and operated restaurant.(nothing fancy)but very comfortable and inviting. Our waitress was just as sweet as can be. “This is a must try place. We are from long Island and were driving back from upstate NY after a long day. Recently saw this place on food network. Their pizza is amazing. The crust was fresh and prefect. Crisp, but not floppy and perfect air pockets. Sauce and toppings top notch as well! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and even made some special accommodations for me cause I wanted a few toppings but the pizza was primarily for my kids. The kids who are normally picky know good pizza and they loved every last bite and wanted more! This place can compete with any of the best Brooklyn outfits!”

“Tried the cheese and margarita pizzas. The cheese pizza reminded me of Nick's (also in Stamford) but with a bit less flavor. Probably because they went light on the tomato sauce. The margarita was good, but the globs of cheese were wide instead of thick, resulting in a weaker, more dispersed taste. The crust was at a place between crispy and chewy that no one can complain about but also doesn't stand out. The menu has the largest Italian selection I've seen at one restaurant, and the free delivery was great.”

“This restaurant has a lot of different food to enjoy as well as different seating options to choose from. We enjoyed our dinner here sitting outside in one of the cabanas. They also offer outdoor patio seating as well as indoor seating. They do have a fireplace inside. I ordered the Barbie dragon martini. It was tasty. The appetizers of a crab cake and fried calamari were delicious. The crab cake was a little spicy and so good. Our dinners were good as well. Our server was so nice and friendly with great energy. If we are in the area again, we would return!”

“We came for pizza, the decor is basic but the pies we tried were very good, thin crust with a bit of char. Note you can specify how well cooked you want the crust so make sure you do so. We had a sausage/onion, a pepperoni and a plain cheese. Its a nice thin crust style, sort of a cross between NYC and New Haven. We would definitely come back. Good to now have a spot for when we are in Norwalk.”

Angelo was so gracious, didn’t make me feel bad at all for the mess, and helped me find everything I needed and even gave me advice on how to prepare the dish I was planning to make. He reminds me of my own Italian grandfather who had his own similar shop years ago.”

Their lobster ravioli and shrimp was also very lack luster and only gave one shrimp that was chopped up. If you want to get food I would just get the appetizers and skip the main courses. However, the drinks were great so I would definitely go back to grab a cocktail. Service: Our waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Ambiance: It's very standard but they do have a cute patio area and large windows that open up which is nice. Overall: I wouldn't be running back here but if I'm in the area and want to grab a nice cocktail and some appetizers then I would consider them.”

“I moved to Connecticut from New York City, on the hunt for a fantastic local bagel spot, and I hit the jackpot with Lizsue Bagels. They have two locations, Stamford and Norwalk. Both are excellent, but there's something about the Norwalk location that just does it for me. I'm willing to travel a bit farther for these amazing bagels almost every week. On my first visit, I arrived just 5-10 minutes after closing time, and they surprised me with a variety bag of bagels to try. That moment sealed the deal, and I've been a loyal customer ever since. The staff is usually friendly, although they can get quite busy, and the wait times can be a bit long, especially on weekends. I'd recommend calling ahead if you're in a hurry. What I love most is their extensive bagel selection. From onions to rainbow, egg to everything, and pumpernickel, they have it all. And the best part? They always toast them to perfection, just the way you like it. Personally, I often go for a ham, egg, and cheese on one of their fantastic bagels or indulge in chive cream cheese on another. It all depends on my mood that week. The possibilities for unique combinations are endless with the wide range of options they offer. If you're in the lower Fairfield County area, I can't recommend Lizsue Bagels enough. I'm confident you won't be disappointed. It's a bagel lover's paradise!”
