“Dinner with a friend catching up. The food and drinks were on point, the service by Kayla was superb on all fronts from recommendations to food delivery and attentiveness. I had the Chilean Sea Bass with Risotto, sea bass a first for me, and it was as delicious as she said it would be. For dessert I took home the Key Lime Chiffon Cheesecake --- to die for. The taste was wonderful, unique experience which I can't wait to try again. Kayla is a big reason to return along with all the other wonderful things there. The atmosphere is a cool vibe, relaxing and inviting. Again, can't wait to visit again!”

“Lots of restaurants claim to cook home style meals, but this the most authentic made from scratch at home style food I have had anywhere. The chicken gets super high praise from every one that tried it. I had steak and the cut was good, minimal seasoning, very on point to the style of the restaurant. We also got the shrimp and it was explained that I was the best she had ever tried anywhere. Icecream with topping for dessert and true old fashion vanilla ice cream. The host is an amazing nkce and pernoble gentleman that brought it all together. Overall a great experience. Can't wait to go back.”

“This is a late review, as I forgot to do one when we dined here several months ago. Some item menus may have changed as it's a seasonal-ingredient kibda restaurant. Despite the restaurant seating being a little tight, it actually felt cozy after a few minutes of sitting down. Maybe it's also because that reminded me of my trip to Quebec City; where cozy, small-spaced restaurants are plenty. The food is fantastic! It's a place you don't just eat with your mouth, but with your eyes. Artistic, lovely plating, and delectable flavors. Our service was a little slow, but our server was informative and kind. We did dine during a busy time, and we're gracious they got us in pretty quickly. Everything was great, and they even gave us an extra dessert. It's definitely another place added to our list of eats.”

The first one was a 10/10! The second one was a decent 7/10. It had a planty/grassy taste to it. Overall, everything was really good though. I would definitely go again. I can see why they've become really popular.”

“I was greeted at the door by a young man with locs. Food was fresh and hot. First time eating from an vegan place and first time eating here and I was SO IMPRESSED! Atmosphere was serene and cozy. A great place to go out with friends, study, etc. Women’s Bathroom was nice, very cleaned and soap smelled divine. I ate and as I left from the restaurant, the same cashier male with locs told me to have a nice day using my name—he remembered my name? I thought that was great customer service and a great reflection on how this business honors their customers. I will be back and I highly recommend this place!!”

“Took a large group of friends on Friday night, and everyone had their burgers burnt. 3 of us had to send them back. I ordered the impossible burger and it was solid black burnt with it crumbling like charcoal. It was inedible. The second round came out still burnt on the edges, but at least it was tolerable. We waited forever to get our food even though it’s a small restaurant. We had to flag down the server anytime we needed something. Overall the worst Friday night dinner our group has had in the last year. People have assured us that they can do a good burger, so I hope they get a new Friday night cook.”

“I wish I’d checked google reviews before my order. I used to frequent Sam’s about 12 years ago. I just moved back to the area and was so excited to order again…expecting food I remembered. The Greek salad was a joke. All iceberg with one tomato slice and two cucumber slices. Maybe a bite of cheese scattered over. Greek fries had the same amount of cheese and no other toppings. Gyro was okay just meat with some tzatziki. The pita provided for our hummus was just a bag of store bought pita…that was the worst for me. At least, please take it out of the bag, warm and repackage! I hope they take poor reviews into account. They used to be the best!”
