“This place is awesome and has a bit of a traditional vibe to it. Sushi bar at the front, sit in tables in between and a bit more private lounges near the entrance. The staff here are incredibly friendly and kind. They truly take care of their customers. That alone shows me this place is well above the average. The Food: Honey Do Roll - This was probably my favorite roll. The sauce is absolutely delicious and everything tasted like quality. Golden Roll - This roll was also very good. Once again there is a hint of quality that's a step above the average Sushi place. Eastern Shore Roll - A unique roll, something I've never had before, wouldn't say it's my favorite but I certainly enjoyed it. Would recommend trying if you were looking to explore something new.”

“🤷🏾‍♀️ TL;DR: The food is just ok. Seems like it might be a decent eat at the restaurant, but the flavors leave much to be desired. 🪷 Backstory: Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines on Earth. I've eaten a lot of dishes over the years, in Philly, where my high school friends first introduced me to pho, to New York City, Reading, PA, and now Maryland. I've been blessed to dine in the homes of people who immigrated from Saigon to the US in the 80s, and I will cherish those memories forever. Those flavors are imprinted in my mind. That said, I am serious about Vietnamese food and am very familiar with a lot of dishes that rarely see a restaurant menu. Pho and Bun Bo Hue are among my favorites. 👍🏾 Delivery: Tonight my usual pho place wasn't available for delivery, so I gave An Loi a try. I ordered the An Loi Pho with all the fixings (tripe included), and a side of the Spring rolls on DoorDash. An Loi confirmed my order immediately, and my order arrived without incident. Everything was well packaged and lovingly labeled for each diner (my partner and I). Sadly, I didn't really care for any of my dishes. 👎🏾 Pho: The noodles were packaged at the bottom of one of those paper Chinese food containers with the meats piled on top, and were overcooked well before I added them to my broth. The broth was more salty than it was beefy, and did not taste like traditional broth, which takes hours of boiling beef bones with distinct aromatics. The bean sprouts and basil provided were crisp and fresh. I added my own Sriracha since the tiny sauce container was mostly hoisin sauce. 👍🏾 Spring Rolls: As for the spring rolls, they were pretty good. They weren't super crispy, but that's a tall order for delivery. The fish sauce dip tasted pretty good, and like what I would expect. 🙏🏾 The meal wasn't inedible, but it didn't scratch that itch for me. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to get my meal to me.”

“If you like Carvel, this is the place. Plentiful amount of soft serve for $5. Interesting toppings, such as twinklecote, which is a mix of nuts, toffee, and rainbow sprinkles. Ended up getting vanilla/chocolate twist with twinklecote. Was the perfect consistency, like that of Carvel. I wish it had some of the topping put into the middle or bottom of the cup, but otherwise it was on point. Plenty of seating outside the storefront.”

“Walked into a completely dead restaurant with no patrons at all. Was seated quickly, and my order was taken quickly. Bread wasn't bad. It's definitely nice and warm. Soft in the middle and crisp on the outside. Tasted fresh. I ordered the stuffed shells with meat sauce. It came out piping hot and still bubbling. Not bad at all. I needed something close to home good, and this satisfied it. Thank you. Normally, I would have a review saying it tasted even better cold the next day. However, my leftovers went to a homeless family standing outside of a shopping center on a school night looking for help. Apparently, not even the school their children attend are helping with anything. And they are being turned away from assistance programs. It is a rather repetitive thing I am hearing across a large majority of this entire state. Sad. I went through the same as a single mom and foster mom for 20 years. And over the pandemic. It's not surprising at all. Those employed on the taxpayers dime aren't fulfilling their duties and not being held accountable. And it is showing in record numbers.”

“My sister-in-law recommended that we try this place a little over a month ago. It is so good that we have been making weekly trips to pick up some awesome food here! I personally like the cheesesteak with the rustic bread. It’s the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I also recommend the chicken Marsala and any of the pizzas as they are excellent as well. They have a few tables inside and they are usually busy so it’s best to call ahead your order or place your order online. It’s one of our most favorite places to go now.”
