“I love this place. Fair prices, delicious and fun food and drinks, and wonderful atmosphere. I come here all the time. I love the grilled cheese with tomato soup. It's one of the greatest foods I've eaten. The focaccia sandwich is amazing too and the shrimp and grits (when they have it) was divine. Definitely worth a visit. “As convenient as this is, I think they're definitely taking advantage of the fact that there aren't really many grocery stores in this area, especially walking distance. No one wants to have to hop on Moreland just to get some eggs (especially if you don't have a vehicle). Their sister market, Grant Park Market, not only has a larger selection of things including bread, dairy, produce, grains, and frozen foods, but the actual quantity of those items is larger for less price... I genuinely can't believe every time I walk in there that a jar of pickles, for example, is ~$8... I understand that a lot of their products are local, and of course I appreciate that, but having seen the exact same products at Grant Park market for sometimes up to half the price for twice as much seems pretty ridiculous. I think a large point of having local markets is making things convenient for people not only with proximity, but also allowing people access to relatively affordable goods. I wish they considered that the way GPM somewhat has.”

“For the price this is one of the best sushi restaurants in all of Atlanta. The atmosphere is great, the drinks are well thought out, and the food is really well prepared and of high quality. One of the things that sets Fudo apart is the uniqueness of their sushi rolls. Be forewarned, these are not for everyone. As an example, I had the Wonder Woman 1984 which was the sushi roll with hard Italian cheese sprinkled on top. This is a very unique experience to say the least for anyone who consumes a lot of raw fish products. I enjoy the uniqueness even though some of the roles there may not be the most perfectly balanced. This will certainly be one of my most frequently visited sushi restaurants in atlanta.”

As always food is full of flavor and the different toppings just adds to my bowl 🤌🏻 When I was checking out, the cashier in front of me asked if I wanted a drink or cookie and when I was looking over I saw they had a new one. I asked if they were good and he said he personally likes them. Sold me. And he was right, it was good, it has that nutty taste to it but the apple part of it gave it a great balance of sweetness. “This place isn't close, but it was worth the 1 hour drive! I ordered the tempura combo, gyu don and the saba shioyaki and sashimi combo. Everything was excellent! The staff was friendly as soon as I walked in, and although I had to drive over 1 hour back, the food was still warm when I opened it. Everything had great flavor and it blew my taste buds away. The tempura became soggy, but the flavor of it with the sauce was good! The gyu don was super tender and tasted great on its on and with the rice. It packed a ton a flavor and made a hearty meal. The sashimi was super fresh and tasted great with the wasabi, and the shioyaki was super tender and had excellent flavor. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new or wants to expand their palate with great flavors. It also has a store stockef with products straight from Japan so before or after you eat, you can also buy things to take home. I will definitely be coming here again!”

The woman who owns/runs the place is very sweet and nice and makes everything fresh. It is a small place so not a lot of seating, mostly just for takeout. Will definitely be back again!”

“These eponymous stone bowls are so hot that the sizzle that comes from one of these stone bowls are conversation-halting, much in the way that necks crane for a passing fajita platter. Every single one of us at the table ordered a bibimbap - a mixed rice dish with veg, a protein, and spicy red pepper paste - in one of these bowls, with nary a complaint upon eating. One of the best parts of ordering bibimbap in a stone bowl is the char that forms in the rice layer most proximate to the hot bottom and sides, which adds the most incredible texture to the dish. Personally, I measure a restaurant's bibimbap by how much of that rice becomes well-crisped, and by those standards, Stone Bowl House won the game of all the Korean bibimbaps I've had to date in the Atlanta area. The banchan, or free side dishes, are decent. I didn't find any standouts bites, but they tasted fresh and acted as faithful sidekicks to the meal. Along with the standard plates of kimchi and spicy fermented radish cubes, there were sesame oiled bean sprouts, pickled shishito peppers, marinated fish cakes, wood ear mushrooms, and their slightly sweeter version of cole slaw. It's notable that the restaurant offers up to five free refills before an added charge (which is far more generous than other Korean restaurants in the area that shall not be named). With our meals, we also enjoyed a small miso soup that helped to cool down our mouths after the fiery mouthfuls of bibimbap. If there were any disappointments, it was the haemul pajeon, or the seafood pancake. It was slim on the namesake seafood and a little thicker and breadier than I usually prefer. I love the way other Korean restaurants serve theirs on a sizzling platter, but these were delivered on a regular plate and therefore were quick to cool and lose some of their initial luster. Our party of four was seated in one of the semi-private side spaces, where we felt tucked away from the crowd but received just as attentive service as any of the other tabled customers.”

The chicken wasn’t even tossed in the sauce. Check out my picture. Also they have a low B rating. Im pretty sure based on the stale chicken their next score might be a C rating. That chicken was definitely old. I also ordered house fried rice and it was meh!!!! Don’t do it!! Maybe the locals around don’t know good Chinese food so they rate it good or maybe depending on the day and time they cook fresh fried food.”

“I've picked up orders from this location twice. The service is excellent, and despite the fact that they are frequently busy and the restaurant becomes heated, they are as patient and friendly as possible in my experience. My first visit was on a Monday early afternoon, when it was rather busy, but my food was ready and still fresh. The other was another Monday, but it was late in the afternoon and not as busy. I had the oxtail sandwich both times, which is made of coco bread, a beef patty, mac and cheese, and oxtail. This sandwich must be eaten immediately because waiting causes the flavor of the sandwich to not combine as well as the structure of the sandwich to be compromised. The sandwich itself is not worth the price it is sold for in my opinion, as I know a location that offers the exact same sandwich for half the price. However, it is savory because the softness of the coco bread, the flaky crust of the patty, the mix of well-seasoned both beef and oxtail, and the cheesy and thick mac & cheese all give a unique impression.”

“It literally killed me to give this place one star, but since I’ve been resurrected I’ll submit this review. My fiancé and I came in around 21:30 p.m.. The person in the photo couldn’t seem to understand how to follow the instructions I was giving her, however she chose to understand my fiancé just fine. It really started when she asked me if my fiancé was my father & I had to tell her to mind her business. This obviously irritated me, so I decided to just allow my fiancé to keep walking her through focusing on her job task. She definitely jumped through all of his hoops too. I found it ironic how her clots just miraculously came a loose. Then she kept retorting snarky remarks behind her mask. All while the other employee stayed in the back. When my fiancé asked for her name so we could report her to the manager, the spell was broken & she lost her focus again; claiming she couldn’t understand what he was saying then. As an essential healthcare worker employed through the entire pandemic and coming into direct contact with ill patients—this useless example of an adult, that clearly suffers from ableism, absolutely contributed to me & my fiancé second guessing our participation with continuing to help stimulate their economical finances. Our sandwiches were disgusting, we could tell they weren’t made with love & I bet it was because they came from her. Not all Subways are the same though, this one just had these loose lame losers.”
