“we came in for a romantic valentine’s day dinner with my dear girlfriend. ❤️ i do love the holiday or valentine’s day, especially after my divorce from my husband and finding love again with my partner. 😍we reserved a table online in advance to celebrate the occasion and we’re so happy that we chose humphrey’s restaurant to celebrate valentine’s day. we ordered the three course menu, which had a vegan option for each course: starter, main and dessert! id say my favorite was definitely the starter which was vegan crispy chicken with a salad. the chicken was indeed very crispy and so well seasoned. 🥰unfortunately we were too full got dessert but the desserts we saw coming out looked fabulous! my girlfriend also really loved her starter which was a lobster soup. we were given complimentary prosecco and bread with spreads upon our arrival and lovely service from the staff! we also got their special valentine’s day cocktails which were so delish! unfortunately not strong enough to get us tipsy 🤣will definitely coming back to celebrate the next special occasion. ☺️”

“Nice Location, super view, good place to sit outside, drinks are fine - BUT the food was a no go. I had the noodles with Gambas, there were only 5 heads in it am one body. The meat was too tough to eat. Never experienced such a bad food, sorry to say.”

It felt like a frozen pizza or very close to those pre-cooked pizzas you buy in the supermarket...Based on what I've seen in other reviews, claiming the used frozen food...probably it is a pre-cooked pizza. This is one of the worst pizzas I ever had. The ingredients didn't taste good. The tomato sauce it is definitely not natural tomato sauce. Also, it was VERY overcooked. The service was rude and they don't allow you to split the bill.”

“We had a business lunch at this restaurant. It looks modern and fresh and there is ample parking round the back of the restaurant (free). Staff was attentive and a bit more informal then I expected. Little things were missing like offering a glass of wine with the food. The main reason for the 3-star rating is the food. It was oké but for me a bit to much sauces and to salty (both courses). With a delicate starter like scallops this means you only taste a salty sauce.”

“We came at 5pm for a quick bite and we had out dinner very quickly. That was great. It was also tasty! I wish I had time for the dessert but we were in a hurry. One thing, if I would be hungry (which I wasn't that day) the ravioli would have been too small a portion for a main course, while the pizza was really a lot. Then you need a starter or a dessert to be full.”

“Strik Patisserie is a place where you will find a unique dessert for your appetite. Specifically in Nijmegen there are no many places where you can find this kind of dessert. There are many bakeries which make really good cakes either for lots of servings or single ones, but this one is more of a "red velvet" and "mocha" style. The prices are where they should be for such a dessert e.g expect to pay more or less €10 for a serving of two people who both have their own coffee and cake. Good quality, nice welcoming environment and okay staff.”
