“Had dinner reservations for my birthday. Customer service was fantastic, accomodated my booking to have my guests sit at one table, changed our menu to be a al carte instead of chefs set menu. The restaurant itself is beautiful to dine in with great ambient music. Being the time of year it was they had a real Christmas tree, loved the smell of fresh pine. Food was delicious! Would highly recommend to anyone 👌”

“Small restaurant hidden in the alleylane. Waiters were very friendly. Unfortunately the meal did not meet our expectations. For a fine dining experience, we expect near perfection with each course as the sizes of each course were so petite. The snacks served were fairly average, we did enjoy the crispy chicken skin with the roe sauce. The oustanding course would have been the spanner crab crumpet. The duck was chewy and needed to be rendered more as we could still taste the fat and the skin was not crispy. The cauliflower puree was delicious however the amount in the bowl was so small that you could barely scoop any out of the bowel. I would recommend increasing the sizes of your dishes as they are quite small as most people will leave feeling hungry. The time each course is served needs to be sped up. It is not acceptable to wait 20-30min between courses. After reading the reviews of other customers I am also left unsatisfied with the food and price point as there are definitely many fine dining restaurants in Melbourne which would have delivered at this price point. We left feeling disappointed and not completely full.”

“Where do we begin… Our special day was on the 01.09.2023 however we’ve been in love with the team at Provenance since we first set foot inside back in May of 2022. We cannot begin to describe how incredible Sarah, Candice, Liam and the team are. Sarah and Candice are the greatest event co-ordinators. From day one they have been so helpful and attentive. They were so prompt in their replies, gave their ideas & input when we were unsure about some things and when the day finally came, Sarah was there to keep me calm (and that’s no easy task). After our planning meeting we were treated to a lovely 3 course meal with accompanying wines to which Liam told us all about. The man knows his food and his wine. What a pro! What stood out most to us about Liam was his eagerness to help my husband’s elderly grandfather when he wasn’t able to eat solids so he asked the chef to whip up some delicious alternatives. We are beyond grateful for his care. Our guests absolutely loved the food, the barrel hall, the staff, everything! We are so happy with our choice in Provenance Wines, we wish we could get married there all over again. Can’t wait to pop in for lunch and see the team again soon. Lot of Love Mr & Mrs Thomas xx”

“This was our first visit to Terindah Estate and we really enjoyed ourselves there. The food was excellent and my fish was not overcooked. Juicy on the inside yet it had a crispy skin. What could I ask for more? And the views were spectacular. From where we were seated, we could look back at Melbourne City and also to Mt. Macedon.”
