“This is an old school 70’s-80’s taco joint. These types of restaurants are dying out across the country, but Wichita has its share of them. Their taco burger is one of the best in the city. Crunchy taco doesn’t disappoint. I recommend this place if you want to tour old school taco joints. These places are like the national chains, but have kept what is good and classic with these types of restaurants.”

“I haven't been to the 21st and Woodlawn location in many, many years. The last time I was there it was a dark, unappealing place. I dislike very much eating in dark and dismal places; particularly, if it's dingy during the day. However, I tagged along on a birthday dinner on Dec 27th (their favorite place) and was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised by the cheery and comfortable environment. The decor was tasteful and the holiday decorations fun. I couldn't remember my years-ago impression of the food because the atmosphere overshadowed my meals then. But I certainly remember my delicious food this time as well as my experience. My mom happens to like Felipe's as well. I think I'll ask her if she wants to go this evening. She'll be shocked. I've been declining for over a decade.”

“My mom and I stopped there for what we call "Linner", it's a late lunch or an early dinner. I had a cup of their beef vegetable soup, my mom had a bowl of tomato soup, and we shared the beef hummus shawarma with a side of fresh veggies. Everything tasted fine although I could have used more seasoning for my food. The service was impeccable! The young lady hostess/server was friendly greeting us when we walked in and continued with her cheerful attitude throughout our stay and extended her friendliness and cheerfulness to every customer that walked in the door. The atmosphere is pleasant and I would definitely recommend a brunch with loved ones or get together with friends. They even serve a complimentary piece of tiramisu at the end of the meal as a nice little surprise!!!”

Phở is so bland, lack of basic ingredients such clove, anise, cinnamon and top garnish are so scanty lack of onion, missing culantro and cilantro. The brisket so chewy, meat ball are soak with broth. PHỞ = 4/10.”
