Meadows Original Frozen Custard
4.8
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 12:00 PM

660 Mt Pleasant St, Greensburg, PA 15601, United States

“This place absolutely smacks in the summer. Their brownie sundaes are in another world. The service here is really nice and the drive through moves quick! There’s decent room to sit both indoors or outdoors with a pretty decent parking situation around the building. I appreciate the late night hours too!!”

The Red Caboose
4.7
( 16 reviews )

5146 Hayden Blvd, Elizabeth, PA 15037, United States

“This is another place that I have driven by frequently and never stopped at because it is cash only. Today I had cash in my pocket and decided to stop. The parking lot was full, but that turned out to be people eating in their cars as it was snowing. There is lots of outside seating. The staff were friendly and the service was amazingly fast. A tasty cheese dog, and a very generous portion of fries. Both were delicious. I almost went back for another hot dog.”

Jaffre's Restaurant Bar & Six Pack

( 8 reviews ) $$

827 E Pittsburgh St #3501, Greensburg, PA 15601, United States

“Amazing food! After attending the production of Rent at the Greensburg Civic Center, we stopped into Jaffre’s for dinner. My husband and I couldn’t decide so we got the Italian Hoagie (only half shown in the photo) and Garlic Pizza. We split both so we could each have a bite of all included. So good! Our daughter had the Chicken Romano over Rotini. We were surprised at the size of the “bowl”….a very generous portion. Atmosphere was lovely. Fabric tablecloths and napkins with wine decor. All in all….excellent! We will be back!”

Bob's Sub

Closed until 10:00 AM

87 Tarentum Bridge Rd, New Kensington, PA 15068, United States

“I go to this Bob’s Sun location once almost every week. I’m usually ordering for pickup. This is my experience: I call them when I’m ready to place my lunch order, usually between 11am and 1pm depending on the day. The staff member on the phone asks when I would like to pick up the subs. I usually tell them 20-30 minutes, though they have offered faster or longer before. They are very flexible. They are always very friendly and always read my order back to me to make sure they got everything and to clear up any questions. I’m usually ordering the same thing, I only have 2 sandwiches I usually switch between, and my father, who orders with me, always get exactly the same thing. When we arrive if there is no line they usually have my order waiting on the back counter, and I can check out with a tap of my card in under a minute. Very efficient, very friendly service, which is always much appreciated! Next, the atmosphere is not my personal favorite; it has a college town sub shop feel (precisely what they are going for, so 10/10 on execution) but it just doesn’t really do it for me. That said, there are plenty of tables inside to dine in if you choose, and there is usually something sports related in the TV. So if you need somewhere to take a break for lunch, they have you covered. The dining area is always clean and tidy, even when they are very busy. As for the sandwiches (which are my usual fare) they are likely the best sub shop for 5 miles in every direction (besides other bobs locations of course!). The sandwiches are made on Cellone’s sub rolls, which is one of my favorite breads. The toppings to bread ratio is always spot on, and the bread is hearty, so it doesn’t turn into a sopping wet mess right away like some places. If you are ordering takeout, I recommend getting the mayo/dressing on the side, it will help keep that bread fresh and dry. I’m pretty sure they make their Mayo and dressing in house, and they are very delicious! My go to subs are #2 Spicy Italian and #6 Classic ham and Turkey. Altogether, these subs will knock your socks off, and I recommend them to everyone!”

Brushes And Beans Cafe
4.7

4550 William Penn Hwy, Murrysville, PA 15668, United States

“Visiting family who live nearby and I’ve been here twice in 2 days. Great coffee, delicious baked goods and cozy interior. There is plenty of indoor seating and a couple of tables outside. The staff are so incredibly friendly. I wish I lived closer. I highly recommend coming here if you’re in the Export/Delmont PA area.”

Italian Village Pizza
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 11:00 AM

5142 US-30, Greensburg, PA 15601, United States

“Under new ownership! Wow!! Pleasantly surprised!! The dough was light and not heavy with a crisp on the bottom you would expect from New York. I’ve traveled a lot and had pizza at some of the best in the country and this place holds its own and I didn’t expect a Calzone of this quality! Perfect… Highly recommend this place and if you’ve had a less than desired experience in the past then I’d give them a second look. I almost didn’t come from some negative reviews but I am glad I did! I do not know the owners and this is a real review… I am just passionate about quality and I am glad I found this place! Thank you!”
