“This is the first place in awhile that I’ve gone and not been charged for a tasting. They have a bar in the back where you can order mixed drinks. All staff members were very friendly and open to answering our questions. There is a tour however we missed that. They do close at 5pm. This is run by a group of retired friends so the hours are limited and the rum is very good!”

“This is a very cool, small mom and pop Café with a Caribbean flavor. I had the eggs Benedict with crabcakes and a side of fresh fruit. The hollandaise sauce was definitely not traditional, but was delicious and spiced differently than you usually find. The fruit was, very fresh, but be forewarned that you have to give up the home fries and grits to get the fruit, and even then they charge three dollars more. My wife got the breakfast Cuban sandwich, which was really a wrap which had been toasted. It was generously sized and delicious. The home fries With her meal were also great. I had them bring some hot sauce out, and it was from St. Lucian, where the chef hails from. It was very unique and delicious. The service was wonderful, and the location is actually in the airport building, with an obvious airport theme. Parking was easy and there was no weight midmorning. We will definitely be back.”

“I can not say enough good things about this place! The staff was great and so, so happy! Everyone working there was so nice and happy and it was just a great chill vibe in the entire place. The food was amazing and beautiful. I love how they are unique and unlike any other place around. The atmosphere inside is amazing with all the plants and books. Made me feel like I was eating at a friends house for dinner. The atmosphere is equally as amazing as they have cute little tables and a fun area for the kids to just be kids! “I've never met a Mexican restaurant that I didn't like until today. Both of our orders were wrong. The food was terrible. The waiter couldn't understand English. Service was slow. Overpriced. $16 for a lunch special (steak Chimichanga). We asked for to go boxes and our bill, and he brought us napkins. Only reason why we asked for to go boxes was to bring the steak home for our dog because it was to tuff to chew. The sampler was missing jalapeño poppers and the chicken chunks were over cooked. HORRIBLE. Worst review that I have ever given.”

“We tried this little Japanese restaurant only by all the positive ratings. It's in the heart of downtown Sarasota. The interior is sparse, nothing fancy. If you're a sushi fan, this is the place to go! I've been to numerous sushi places in the USA and abroad. Utamaro is probably the best of them all. They're very generous on the size of the cuts of fish - the largest I've seen so far. All of the sushi we had was excellent. They have a large selection of rolls too. I'm not a huge roll guy, but try the Manhattan rolls. Totally AMAZING!! Try Utamaro thr next time you're in the mood for sushi. You can thank me later.”

“It was one of my favorite places to go while on Dearborn Street in Englewood. The food, service, and atmosphere are always great. Never had a bad experience here. I was eating solo on this day and enjoyed coffee, water, and a great breakfast. I had the french toast breakfast, which included eggs and hashbrowns. You get a lot of food for the money. The service was great, I love seeing how all the staff work together and enjoy each others company and working together to keep customers happy. The atmosphere is perfect, relaxing with lots of tables outside on the deck with shade and fans blowing. On this day, they had music by Alan Fraser, who, by the way, was awesome. Really enjoyed his song choices and, of course, music. I will definitely be back.”
