“Everytime I through Mobile, I have wanted to stop at The Cheese Cottage. I finally made it and WOW....it was amazing. Downtown historic area was cool and sitting outside on the patio was nice. I had one of the many cheese boards and a pizza. The goat cheese w/rosemary and honey was the best but the dragon cheese was a close 2nd. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.”

“We drive an hour just to eat here! They have the best vegan options for pho and other veggie food items. The only thing is that sometimes it gets packed fast, so you have to get in where you fit into get a table. Everything is so good though!”

“When we originally walked in the young lady wasn't that friendly. When I asked her name, her attitude changed some. If you sit in the booths, the table is far from the seats so since we were the only ones in the restaurant, we slid everything to make it more comfortable. The hummus was really good. The lentil soup is with yellow lentils and very thick. The croutons are good but you must ask for them, they don't come automatically. The falafel Sandwich is good, just with they added hummus to the sandwich. They do not serve pine nuts in the Lebanese tea, bummer. The grape leaves are really small with not much in them for the price. I doubt I will be back.”

“We love red or white. It’s our go to always! We had an especially wonderful experience last night when we took our son in. Everyone was so accommodating. Carlos even made our son a balloon toy to play with while we waited for our food! Second only to the service, the food is wonderful every time. And the wine! Ask Mary for help picking out. Such a gem in Mobile!!!!!”

“I just love the name! 😜 In all seriousness, I was impressed with this smaller market. Normally, smaller markets I've been to, except a few I won't mention cut costs, corners, etc. This store seemed to have taken the advice of a previous review about cleanliness, and I'm happy they did. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the place was absolutely clean and smelled of yummy cooked Southern food. We were greeted from the time we entered "welcome" with a smile... to a "Thank you" upon exiting. The restrooms were clean, and shelves were kept with the inventory. Definitely, great prices, oh, and a few ladies at the Deli were exceptional. Wish I caught their names, and don't remember seeing a name tag. The lady who sliced our deli meats was a doll, and the other I made her laugh about my husband's sandals 😉 (she was already in good spirits and had asked if I needed anything). Overall, a great place to find along the highway. Hopefully, we can stop by again to replenish and be enthralled by their Southern charm 🥰.”

“Went here looking for some good breakfast and really didn’t get it. Leaving two stars because the lady was nice. The biscuits were burnt and the grits were subpar and the lemonade was ok but barely got any since the whole cup was filled with ice. Not planning on going back.”
