His customer service from the time i walked in was amazing… he didn’t make me feel rushed or annoyed at how i wanted my pizza… and it is AMAZING!! If he could make my pizza every time i would be in heaven haha… EXCELLENT JOB ETHAN *UPDATE* i went back today around 8:30pm and the young ladies working wasn’t friendly… not even to a lady who hadn’t been there before… I’m really big on customer service so I’ll drive the 30-40 mins to the one in Greenville from now on…. Im from Minnesota and this is my favorite place to get pizza from there… so when i seen one here i went… let me explain my 3 star review… i went 3 times in one day lol… 2 times between 2:30-3pm and again between 5:30-6pm… the first 2 times customer service wasn’t there the older lady made us feel rushed, and our salads was made incorrectly {we didn’t really mind sense we went for pizza}… but my pizza was AMAZING… when i went the 3rd time the customer service was top notch… guy in the green shirt offered a seasoning toooing that took my pizza over the top… i did find out that i should’ve been charged for cheese the first 2 times i went and i wasn’t… not a big deal but i personally eat the same thing every time and like to know it will be the same amount each time… i dislike the app as it doesn’t give enough options.. they also should change the standard amount of cheese that comes on the pizza because without the extra it’s not good pizza.. and doesn’t look good.. the pizza sticks was just dough… i unrolled it to see if it had cheese and it wasn’t enough for that… i will still be there again today haha”

“The shop is the real deal! The flavors were great and the portions were large. It's a small location, but it had enough tables to fit 12 people or so. I would love to try another sandwich and maybe a cannoli next time. The parking lot is awkward and messy - good luck getting in quickly or safely from any direction.”

“We’ve given this restaurant three chances in the past 7 years and it continues to disappoint. We are done here. Dirty bathrooms, physical property in disarray, dirty and cluttered. Service is always meh. Waitresses not going to Win the “Miss. Congeniality” title. Food adequate, and not as bad as A&J but not better than Alison’s . After all, How can you screw up a salad huh. No need for further punishment.”

“We had a grand experience at Stax’s Drake House Restaurant! The staff was welcoming and friendly. There's no secret when it comes to getting weird looks when visiting certain restaurants, but not at the Drake in Landrum, so it truly made us glad we accepted the offer when invited by our friends! Now let's eat~ oh my, the food was fresh and well-presented! We were informed of their famous fried chicken, and it was fabulous. Crispy, well-flavored, and juicy on the inside. The white fish meets its match as well. All sides were homemade (green beans, pinto beans, mashed potatoes, cream corn, collards, mac & cheese, etc.) My favorite was the salad bar and homemade spinach chicken soup, which had a Western flare and a nice kick of spice that nipped a the tongue. Desserts change daily, so this visit brought forth choices from bourbon bread pudding, coconut cake, lemon pound cake topped with homemade strawberry jam topping, & an apple bread pudding! The lemon pound cake was fluffy and reminded me more of a cake than a pound cake yet was amazing. I was not a huge fan of the bourbon pudding since I wanted more of a loose consistency to absorb each section as flavors came together as a whole. I could not taste the butter, not the flavor of bourbon due to it being one large lump of heavy conjoined dough, but if one is looking for a heavy consistency it could be a great choice. Today, my favorite was the lemon pound cake! Thanks for a wonderful heartwarming welcome. It will definitely be on our list of places to visit in the future. The hospitality we received was greatly appreciated.”

“Was in town passing through for business. Great atmosphere usually live bands the nights I would patron. Barkeep we’re usually very friendly and the pace is broken up into two sections. 1 for the main taproom and the other will a full bar. All in all the experience was great and enjoyed the brews! “My wife and I swung by on the way to the hotel. I've got to say, the food was seriously delicious. It was really that good. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly accommodating, no pickles. On the flip side, I couldn't help but notice that the floor was a bit on the dirty side, which was a minor downside. Despite that, I'm definitely considering a return visit for the delectable food and the exceptional service provided by the staff.”
