Dinner was so flavorful and delicious! You get a soup, salad, house vegetable and fries to share. It was just fantastic! I’d highly recommend - but get a reservation to guarantee you can get in! “I was told I needed to try some Basque food for my first time in Boise and this came up as a top place! The seating was kind of crowded but honestly the bartenders were great and they did a great job to accommodate. I ordered the lamb grinder spicy and it did not disappoint. The croquettes were recommended to me as well and they were great. Regardless, I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend this place as a nice and casual eatery.”

“Easily in the top 10 best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Everything we tried was incredibly fresh and unique. The staff was incredibly kind and passionate. They clearly love their job. The salad platter and chicken noodle soup are a must and please save room for the honey cake and lemon mousse! Everything has a lightness to it that leaves you feeling great after the meal like amazing home cooked food. We loved it so much on our visit to Idaho that we came here twice to try more things on the menu. This place is special.”

“This review is for Sherry in cashiering. The cashier is supposed to be the last person who helps you and your last impression. I’ve never had any issues with any employees there and they have all been really helpful and kind but that quickly turned around with my experience with Sherry. She had an attitude the whole time and when it was time to give us our receipt, she shook her head with annoyance and threw it at my husband for him to catch. That is no way to ever treat a person let alone a customer. That old lady should not be working in retail.”

“Restaurant decor looks old and tired. The wait staff were cordial and polite, but nothing special. As for the food, some of the worst, gelatinous goo I've ever been served. The pork and black mushrooms was awful. The mushrooms were slimy and tough plus the pork was fatty. The garlic chicken was also swimming in the same sort of gelatinous goo as the pork with jar chopped garlic (not freshly chopped) and was hard to differentiate between the two on taste. Both bland and flavorless. The egg drop soup that came with the meal was so slimy I gave up on it after two spoons of it. All in all, a disastrous lunch. It boggles my mind that it's rated 4.3. People in Boise need to go to Chinatown in Seattle or anywhere in the Pacific Northwest to find out what Chinese food should taste like.”

“Lobster bisque had a strong burnt taste like the bottom of a burnt pot, sweet potato fries and French fries were like soft rubber as shown .The fried lobster tail was very over cooked and like cardboard , the oysters on the half shell i could not eat after smelling 1 from each tray of 3 dozen my daughter ate 2 and spit them out the chicken was very overcooked . The only thing out of a axp 300.00 order that was half way decent was the shrimp cocktail. Even the coconut shrimp were not edible. My 2 cents save your money and avoid this place like the Plague..”

“There is nothing I love more than delicious food that does not require silverware. Meat pies. Hold in your hand, delicious meat pies. Crispy flaky crust on the outside and solid meat mixture on the inside. Buttery chicken curry had flavor and wasn't overwhelming or runny like a pot pie would be. As for the cookies and cream milk shake, it was a nice smooth consistency where drinking it didn't feel like you were sucking for oxygen out of a straw. Overall, I recommend this place. They also have an assortment of desserts and beer on tap, so it makes for a great place to just chill and hang out.”
