“First time visit, and won’t be my last. The Raspberry Butter Cake cookie was exquisite - a bit of tart, a bit of sweet. Menu changes weekly, so download the app to keep up on its return. Ignore the calorie content of these treats if you want to fully enjoy this indulgence, and heed the serving size of 1/4 of a cookie. The kiosk was a bit confusing for me until another customer helped me. (I was redeeming a gift certificate.)”

“My friend from St Joseph brought me here during a recent visit and I loved it! It was a little chilly to sit outside with views of the river, but I loved the warmth and woodsy decor of the dining room. There is a full bar, a good wine list, and a nice selection of craft beers on tap. Fresh hot popovers with honey butter (oh yum!) were brought by our friendly and helpful server. My friend got the glazed salmon and I opted for the pork ribs — both were delicious! If there had been room for dessert, I’d have gone for the lava cake; that’ll be next time!”

“I stopped to try this ice cream on a road trip through the area. If you’re doing the same, it’s a cute town, a super cute place and I’d definitely recommend it. However. They do not give taste samples, which is a huge downside to me because as a one time visitor there was no way to know what I would like. Thus I opted for the flight of mini ice cream scoops, which is a really cool option, but after picking 5 I thought I was the most likely to enjoy, I didn’t like most of them. The mint chip, which is usually my favorite flavor, was the best. I should have gone with my initial instinct and just gotten this. Milk chocolate was good. Salted caramel truffle, their most popular flavor, is nice to try but was overly rich for me. I was so-so on the strawberry, and I outright disliked the vanilla bean (which is usually my other favorite flavor). Great outdoor seating areas though and happy I came.”

“Excellent place to eat after a long day on the road and especially for smoked meats. Food was great and the staff were very friendly and met my specific request. Had a chance to chat with the owner and was impressed by her passion and desire to own a business and make a difference in her community while giving others opportunities as well. They had run out of brisket, because it's so popular, and when I told her I was disappointed she went and cut a piece off of the brisket she was cooking and it was amazing. Great outdoor atmosphere and would highly recommend you stop by and visit.”
