“Our first time here and we love this little country restaurant. Lots of locals do, too. The parking lot was packed and the Saturday wait time for breakfast was 20 minutes. The service was friendly, efficient and fine. Our pancakes were a bit on the heavy side, but breakfasts were tasty and great otherwise. Not a fan of the guest check, which only had the server's scribbled notes with no prices or total until it was taken to the cashier. But will definitely return.”

“First time was good…. Went yesterday expecting the same experience. Glad we made a reservation, they were very busy. Got our table without a wait. From there it went down hill. We asked for a fork for our salads, the serviced never brought them, even though we asked a few times for them. Food was ok….. lobster tempura Maki was over cooked. Definitely won’t be going there for a 3rd time.”

“Y'all, just the bread & sun-dried tomato dip they bring out is amazing, add their kitchen house, & any of their entrees & you'll have an astounding night! Downtown Kitchen has been our favorite restaurant in Canton since it opened!! They are locally owned and their focus on exceptional service & incredible food! From their amazing hanger steak to the best crispy fried chicken with a creamy bacon gravy, everything there is flavorful & delicious!! We felt extremely lucky to have Ed as our waiter last weekend, he was outstanding!! *We recently went back & my husband was craving their stuffed chicken but it's no longer on the menu. However, when he asked about it, they were super kind & said they could make it & the stuffing would be on top. It was beyond delicious & full of flavor!! Absolutely amazing food & service every time!!”

“We ate here for brunch on a Sunday. There was a 20min wait list, not bad. The place is really small inside so waiting is outside. Once we got our table for 4, the server was polite and quick as he could be. After we ordered it took FOREVER to get our food. We waited longer to get our food than we did waiting for a table. We got the Chicken biscuit with gravy, it also had a sunside egg on top, and it was delicious. The cheese grits were creamy and great texture. The potatoes are torn and fried and delicious! They had great seasoning on them too, just needed a little more. The sausage seems to be home made and the biscuit were really good too. My tab for the chicken biscuit and a water to drink, with tip, was almost $20 just for 1 person.”

“I had a great time last night, this was my first time there, my valentines date bailed but I kept my reservation because I was hungry! Marilynn was my server, she was sweet, caring, attentive, and prompt. Emily also checked on me and we had a nice chitchat, I was very well taken care of. I got the pepper jack smash burger and it was delicious with bbq sauce on the side for the steak fries. No complaints, 10/10 would recommend and come back again… maybe next time my date won’t bail.”
