“We found this place by chance, it's inconspicuous, but it's worth a visit! Very tasty sandwiches, it seems the most delicious in this area. Very juicy meat, lots of sauce, fresh vegetables, fresh and crispy bread. I was shocked when our order was brought, the sandwiches were huge and smelled very tasty. One of the sandwiches came with steak and the meat was very well cooked. Very nice friendly staff, simple interior, there are tables to sit outside. Dog friendly”

“Excellent California style breakfast spot tucked away on State Street. Highlights are the friendly staff, the fast service, and customizable “build your hash” breakfast meals. Service is fast and friendly here because you order at the counter. Once ordered, you can sit down and wait for your food and enjoy paid for but unlimited coffee and enjoy the views. We ate quickly and everyone was friendly. The food is also excellent here. The customizable hash and egg plates are really good and come with a small spring mix salad and toast! They have everything from breakfast burritos to skillets and healthy options. I trust every dish here is delicious. I highly recommend the hash plates! I’d highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and or lunch. It’s pricey like most things in Santa Barbara but worth it!”

“First, the garlic noodles: These were the worst garlic noodles I’ve had and it was essentially elevated-looking ramen without the elevated taste and flavors of good ramen or garlic noodles. Not sure why they were ramen-ish soupey. The KFC and shrimp baos were good but at about $8ish each for a Bao are very over-priced. The japche was OK but also very ramen-style soupey that didn’t work too well, though the flavoring and fresh mushrooms were good. It’s a counter-service restaurant so you order and pay up front and is overall not worth the value, our bill without even any drinks was $75 for three and the portions were small and left much to be desired”

“This has to be one of the best fast casual restaurants for pasta in California. I have never had a pasta dish here I didn’t like. I think the California pasta is the best elegantly light pastas with the white wine sauce. I also really love the zucchini noodle pastas here. Not sure how you got the right texture and perfect shape but don’t stop! Picture is the zucchini noodles with avocado sauce from the store menu.”

“Half + Half (1st pic) was the better choice, Yuzu missed the Avo (2nd pic) and didn't have enough of the sauce compared to the fish/rice ratio. Fish was otherwise fresh. Buttered Noodles, just that, would probably taste better if fully cooked through. Order at the counter and food served rather quick, no checking in after delivering the food. $3 corkage charge but do have drink options available.”

“One line: Pure bliss sandwiches with homemade taste Parking: Street. During the weekday which I went it was pretty easy to find street parking that was free for 75-90 min. Seating: Small indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor does have a bar and sports on the tv. When I was there it appeared most people order to go. Sandwiches: Cuban sandwich- pork and ham as base meats with pickle and generous serving of avocado. It was delicious and flavorful. De La Guerra: cheese steak style sandwich with grilled peppers and guacamole. It comes with a French dipping sauce. The combination was just as flavorful as the Ruben but of course a different sandwich. Gaucho: cheese steak style sandwich that is similar to the de la guerra but without avocado. Also served with a French dipping sauce. Beverages: I did not but anything but I noticed they do have a bar. Overall: I have tried quiet a few sandwiches places and this is one is now one of the top on my list. The last time I had such a good sandwich it was in downtown Half Moon Bay that was family owned and everything was fresh including the turkey and veggies. This is better in the sense of the combination of flavors works so well. It was so good it made me want to write a review after so long of not writing one. I would definitely come back.”

“What I REALLY wish I had a picture of is the crispy rice salad.... But I always dive in immediately and forget a photo. It is honestly one of my most favorite dishes, anywhere. Super crunchy and flavorful and I crave it all the time. Order 2 for the table because you won't want to share. Fantastic cocktails and rotating seasonal specials. We keep coming back again and again. Highly recommend for both a quick lunch or romantic dinner date. This spot hits on so many levels.”

“The best ice cream ever! I picked the lemon curd. It wasn’t too sweet but you can tasted the rich lemon and creamy flavor. The cone was special. It tasted like cinnamon.
