I tried a little when I got back to the hotel, and it was pretty good. The indoor seating looked very nice. The staff was nice too with big smiles upon their faces. I noticed there are lunch specials every day of the week except Sundays. If you are in the Wake Forest area, stop by Charlie's Kabob Grill to try some excellent Mediterranean Food!”

“Food, service and atmosphere was all great! Very limited seating is the only drawback for me. We arrived early so wasn’t a problem for our party of 6, and staff was super nice and pushed tables together. We ordered one cheese pizza, one white pizza with mushrooms, & olives, and one cheese/sausage/olive pizza. Ranked in order#1- plain cheese! Just a great sauce that wasn’t disguised by other topping flavors, #2 was white and #3 was sausage. Crust was thin and crispy, very nicely done and sauce was delicious. Also ordered the Reg. Caesar and it fed 4 adults. The price is good for such a large, delicious pizza. Highly recommend! Parking: beware of the “permit needed after 4 pm” areas. Don’t get towed! There’s a pay to park lot 1 block away if you can’t find free street parking. Gotta work off those pizza carbs anyway right?”

Appetizer Sampler: 1.2/10 The quality was reminiscent of low-end frozen food. The fried ravioli lacked flavor, and the chicken was extremely dry, significantly diminishing the overall appeal. Value: 2.9/10 The pricing ($49 for three items) did not reflect the quality of the food. The appetizer sampler, priced at $12, offered little value and was comparable to cheaper, yet better-tasting options from a grocery store.”

There’s ample indoor seating and maybe 15 outdoor tables (give or take). We love to go for lunch, grab a drinks and sit outside. We always come home with a tub of chicken salad. We usually like it better with a dash of salt and sometimes it can be a little onion heavy but it’s overall a delicious shredded chicken salad. The chicken salad sandwich comes on a croissant (pictured) so obviously that’s a hit! The mixed green salad is delicious! It’s a little sweet between the craisins and vinegrette. (Also pictured) We also enjoy the macaroni salad and the egg salad.”

The beef added to the dish was also noteworthy for its quality. General Tso's Chicken (1-10): 7.2 This dish gets an 'A' for effort. The inclusion of fresh broccoli and peppers, often omitted at other establishments, was appreciated. The chicken pieces were the perfect size for one-bite eating, though a bit more crispiness would have been ideal. Bulgogi (1-10): 7.2 The flavor of the bulgogi was remarkable, and the accompanying kimchi did not disappoint. My only wish was for a more generous serving of beef, as the dish was heavier on the vegetables. Spring Roll (1-10): 8.4 Crispy and fresh, a welcome change from the often stale-tasting cabbage-filled rolls commonly found. The dipping sauce complemented them well. Value (1-10): 7.6 The overall dining experience was well worth the cost. At $82 for three people, including appetizers, the price was justified by the quality of the food and atmosphere.”

“Hey y'all, I gotta share my experience at Jersey Mike's on Timber Drive because it was a bit of a letdown. Usually, I'm all in for their subs – they're usually top-notch wherever you go. But this time, it was a whole different story, and not in a good way. So here's the deal: I found hair in my bread. Yeah, I know stuff happens, but come on, that's just gross. And the way the staff handled it? Not cool. No apology, nothing. When I asked for a new sandwich, it felt like I was bugging them big time. They made me feel like I was the problem for not wanting hair in my food. I'm not usually one to fuss, and I get that everyone has off days, but the folks there could've been a bit nicer about the whole thing. The food's still good, sure, but the vibe and service? Not what I'm used to from Jersey Mike's. I'm just saying, if you're going around Raleigh looking for a sub, maybe think twice about this place. They need to step up their game in the friendly service department. Just my two cents.”
