“Huge servings and very tasty. Slightly more expensive than a normal cafe, but the servings are big, the food is vegan, and they seem to make an effort to be organic and high quality ingredients. Would have liked if the smoothie was bigger though. Servings are generally quite good tho, for example pancake stack the pancakes are mega thick.”

“Beautiful dining experience, we booked the outdoor section because we had a pet , however due to the extreme warm weather we were seated at the cellar door. Great thinking as it was much cooler there. The team are friendly and courteous , the food was delicious and a great selection of wines. Will certainly return .”

“Dropped in as I’d heard on the radio that Hawkes Farm were cooking some tasty triple fried chips. As expected, the chips were delicious. Whilst they aren’t cheap, the portion size is generous. The staff are very friendly and are keen to talk to the customers about how fresh the potatoes are (as this is a potato farm)”

“OMG My partner and I were just about to lose hope in finding a place with good sushi. We were convinced that there was nothing other than somewhat decent take away sushi shops (mostly rolls, box cut nigiris). This place offers a proper izakaya experience with fresh sashimi and nigiri, and actual wasabi ; We couldn’t tell if this was freshly ground but wouldn’t have been surprised. Thank you.”

“This would be a 5 star review if it weren't for the "joke" on the wall, 'Please be careful on the roads, lots of people are drinking and letting their wives drive'. It's a bit average to trivialise road trauma when we have just seen the largest death toll on Victorian roads in years. If this is removed, it's a 5 star from me. Sausage rolls were amazing though!”

“Beautiful little cafe with a gorgeous courtyard dining area next to it, the blue and white umbrella exudes a nice beach vibe. Enjoyed my pull pork burger, tasty sauce and quality bun. Vanilla slice is worthy of high praise, coffee was delicious. This cafe offers common menu items executed at a high quality. Great place to chill and catch up on the local newspaper while listening to the birds at the neighbour's tree. I can see the appeal of the Peninsula lifestyle.”

“This is not the prettiest vineyard in the Vic, but when it comes to winemaking they are doing a superb job at it. Many of their wines should be charged double the price of what they are changing now, because you are really getting that much better quality wine. A lot of old world wine making techniques. And to be honest some of the wine tastes like in cote de nuits.”
