Each course was delicious, but we particularly enjoyed the avocado and bacon app, the duck, and the house dessert (sponge cake with pears, caramel sauce and whipped cream). The owner took individual attention to each table making everyone feel like welcome guests . His wine recommendation was spot on! I highly recommend dining at this restaurant.”

Food: The three-course dinner included a pre-starter, as well as a small snack after we finished our dessert. The concept of every dish was well thought-out. It was innovative, and the flavours of each component matched each other incredibly well. The intricate plating on each item served to us created a feast for the eyes as well. As we progressed through the three-course menu, each dish complemented each other and was not overwhelming at all. The overall amount of food was also just nice. Service: The team that served us that night could not be any better. They were fast, attentive and incredibly friendly. The staff spoke English well, explaining each component of the dishes as they were served. They also recommended us local wine from Bordeaux, which was delicious by itself and also complemented the food extremely well.”

“A beautiful place just near Pichon Baron, they provide different choice at lunch. I chose Rossini for my main course, and it’s beautiful with very nice flavor. Tender canard fois gras, and crispy biscuits. The wine list is a bit expensive regarding the open market price, so we didn’t order the wine, also partly because driving. It’s a nice place to visit for a second round.”

“A bit disappointed We tried two versions of vegetarian Ramen, and I have to say it was rather blunt. The soup tasted more like a broth than a Ramen. The gyoza was good I think the best thing of what we have ordered. The prices on the contrary were rather low we paid 12/14€ for Ramen and seven euro for gyoza. I wouldn’t come back there better Ramen places in Bordeaux.”

“A killer pub/resto - way over delivered for the experience you might expect from this type of resto. Jeff was a great server, even though the place was getting busy fast for the rugby game he was attentive, made good recommendations and checked a few menu questions we had (the beef tataki comes with a small garnish of black dots on the plate - they are squid ink and roasted sesame paste! The tataki is excellent btw) Fun and dynamic wine list, prices are all very good for a city center resto and every dish was tasty, interesting, and plated with artistry/thoughtfulness. Music was a fun vibe, every table was having fun and you can tell it gets banging later at night was the dj decks are front and center. Worth stopping in and trying, especially if you're into trying different wines! The chocolate lava cake was divine and I scrapped my plate to finish it off. Oysters were fresh, well shucked, and the mignonette had just the right zip and crunch from the shallots. My only suggestion would be to separate the oyster from the shell but we haven't seen that in France anywhere so far - and the quality was second to none so maybe it's a preference for us Canadians (and God knows we've had some butchered oysters when they aren't separated right in Calgary). Such an amazing atmosphere and attention to detail and patrons without being overbearing. A perfect example of service. The cocktails were fantastic and the food was delicious. Fresh, innovative and very generous size portions. The wine was beautiful and very, very affordable. This is a highly recommended venue and will be making a return on our next visit.
