We chose to have lunch here, arriving slightly past noon on a Friday, and were pleasantly surprised to find a brief wait for a table. To me, this signaled a positive sign. For my meal, I indulged in 6 oysters, shrimp cocktails, bacon-wrapped scallops, and a lobster roll. I must admit that the seafood here surpassed my expectations in terms of taste and quality. I'm thoroughly convinced that this place knows its seafood well, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. What sets this establishment apart is that it's not just a restaurant; it also operates as a seafood market. People can stop by to purchase fresh seafood to enjoy at home. During our meal, I noticed several customers dropping by to buy seafood for later. Additionally, the spacious parking lot adds to the convenience. Our waitress was remarkably attentive and detailed. She took the time to explain any dish modifications and provided alternative options when needed. Her attention to detail was commendable, and it enhanced our dining experience. All in all, I would confidently give this place a 5-star rating. I'll definitely make a return visit whenever I have the opportunity and will wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends.”

“The Sinful Kitchen is a staple in our Maine rotation any time we visit. From the moment we stopped in the very first time, we were welcomed like they'd known us our whole lives. “9/30/23 - Visiting from VA, and decided to come here after walking about downtown a bit. There wasn't too much of a wait which was nice. A Bill Burr show just ended so it seemed a bit busier. There seemed to be only one waiter and he was moving. He definitely did the best he could. The food was okay. My fiancé got the margarita pizza and it was pretty cold. I got a Caesars salad which was really good. I loved the seasoning/dressing. Our local friends got a sausage pizza and seemed to like it. The vibe was nice in there too. It was interesting to be able to see the cooks cooking too. I loved seeing the bricked oven. Was a good spot for fast food.”

“We like Shipyard’s pumpkin beer when we had it back in California so decided to go to the brewery to have it there. We were so excited to try it out. Just note that the initial smell can be overwhelming at first but it’s just bc it’s normal brewery smell. The beers were good and we enjoyed the pumpkin beer and the blueberry beer from Sea Dog Brewing the best. But those we’ve had back at home before. None of the new ones we tried were too memorable. Nice decorations of the place though and friendly bartenders.”

Just got groceries and said to the lovely cashier lady that if they had coffee and seating I'd just chill with a cuppa. She said 'we do', whaaa?!! “Took the kids here tonight after their karate lesson because I figured it would be quicker than going home and making dinner. Boy was I wrong. Myself and two children were seated immediately but without any kids menus. Not a big deal because I knew what wanted. It took ten minutes for My water and two kids drinks. we waited nearly 40 minutes for two lukewarm kids entrees and one appetizer. My daughter's chicken tenders were super dry from either being over cooked or sitting under a heat lamp. My appetizer was good but man that wait was insane! I should've just made dinner at home.”

When we were there other beers were very hea y feeling and after trying the flight I'm not sure I could fit more beer bc it's filling. Very cute idea for the flights with the muffin tins, makes it stable and the color coding to tel the beers is genius. While the beers weren't exactly my taste to enjoy regularly, they are good beers if you like the heavier darker type German style beers.”

I’ve tried many things on the menu and while each individual salad, sandwich and soup stands alone in their flavors, they all contain a love for food, craftsmanship and above all deliciousness. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly, and the location is nice to eat at or take out. My favs are the Franklin sandwich and the Cobb salad. While I’m not a vegetarian, I’m sure they have vegetarian options and could accommodate any flavor preferences well.”

“For the second Wednesday in a row there was NO manned checkouts open and only the self check outs open with one employee watching over it at 10:45 A.M- Last week I called corporate to complain and was told it would be rectified - It is NOT - Like last week I was about to leave my full cart in the isle and leave to go to a nearby Hannaford's as were about a dozen other folks After 15 minutes of contemplating and chatting with other irate folks who were considering leaving a girl did come and open a register but was obviously less than pleased - Shaw's had been a great place to shop until recently and in mu opinion is now a rock bottom - Sadly it is time to shop Hannaford's who has staffing, far superior meat and deli departments - VERY sad!”
