“Visiting the TJ Maxx was a fairly positive experience for the most part, however there was a significant amount of empty shelves which lead to a shortage in certain sections of the store mainly pertaining to self-care, makeup and shoes. On the contrary the Runway - Designer section of the store was heavily plentiful with a variety of high end designers. Overall a good experience despite lacking certain products. Would recommend to those looking for designer brands at a great price!”

Twice I have had an issue with the new propane system, you have to enter your card, it charges you then the machine starts. 1st issue I had was being charged and the machine stopped way before it should have for what I paid. The 2nd most recent the machine took my money and did not start. Went inside just to be told to spend more money and try again.... I still have not seen the charge drop. And their security guards always have an issue and linger around and stare at you and sometimes get in the way from the lane I'm trying to park at because of it.”

“Great bookstore in downtown Chicago. Quaint, great smell (that bookstore smell, if you know what I mean) hardwood floors that creak in spots, giving it character and charm. A great selection of books, anything we could think of was there. I ended up with a number of books and a great afternoon experience with my daughter. They also had banned books! Lol. I thought that was great. There was a children's area as well and the staff was super knowledgeable and friendly the three times I spoke with them.”

“order was place 7 months ago the item is still not sent, called in and was told the item wasn't in stock when i paid for shipping. what isn't okay is the slow or down right awful customer support, don`t bother with email or messaging on the website because your gonna end up feeling ghosted as they don`t respond, called in and got it "solved" but that shouldn't be the end all be all solution as the 8 minute call cost me as much as parts and shipping combined. something needs to be done when it comes to customer support and the shipping cost should always be in the total during checkout, having to get a hold of the support staff to then be told that i need to pay more is not okay. the guy i spoke to on the phone was really respect full and very helpful. with all this in mind i feel fine with changing my review from a 1 star to a 3 star”

“Love! Love! Love! This location. Hands down excellent customer service. Thanks to TONI, ERICK, GUADALUPE.!!! They have excellent customer service. I was at the cash register and thought I grabbed everything but I didn’t. I left my health & beauty items that was already scanned and placed on the side for me. I didn’t grab my bag because I was trying to rush to my niece party. I got her a lot of beautiful toys that she would love. So while leaving I forgot my and items and once I realized that I didn’t grab everything. I went back inside to get the items that I left at the register. Once the items wasn’t there I got upset and frustrated. So the cashier Toni was professional and really nice to me and calm me down. She said we will run the cameras back to see where did the bag go. Lord behold the lady behind me took my bag probably by accident who knows but I was happy they ran the cameras back. I was so happy how management help me get everything resolved and they gave me options which was excellent in my opinion. I was treated with the upmost respect and love this location. I love how I was treated and will be back in the future. I’ll even tell friends and family members that this target is the best in our location so I’m happy they helped me. Thank you Target for Hiring these amazing employees.! Awesome job! Thank you!”

“Jewel Osco is one of my favorite grocery store. But today i felt so unhappy with my shopping. It was my first time using the stores app and asking a question to the cashier on how does the The U coupon works. She speaks to me with tone like i am so dumb bothering her with this questions. I work as a retail manager and i never treat any of my guests with this kind of manners. She is very rude and keep raising her voice each time she talks. Why is the attitude? I tried to stay calm and smile but her response is just that I am giving her too much work just to answer a question regarding how can i claim the coupon i clipped in my app. That is just a very short and simple question. I went home wmotional since i am still having a postpartum. I am the type that i don't like to yell at people. So i just stopped smiling at her anymore and leave since she keep raising her voice to me with a face. I find it so insulting. And i get her name Angie. As soon as she notices that i didn't smile anymore and looked disappointed while staring at her name tag then she begin to behave. She is just very rude and no manners. Not fit to work in a retail especially at cashier section.”

“The Garrett Mix popcorn is very good but the employees are not really the friendliest in the recent experience so that's where the 3 star experience really comes into play. Upon entering we found a small line to wait in but nothing really too bad. We shuffled our way through and it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than welcomed for our experience. We got a jumbo Garrett mix and saw that there was a $4 add on for the s'mores mix bag if you wanted that at the beginning of the case. The very first case you encounter has the bags of the add on but then when we asked to get one we were told to ask for it at the end during check out. Kinda confusing as to why it's the first thing you see but you're supposed to address it at the end? Either way we got the mix and our add on sent on our way. The popcorn itself is great...at first an interesting combination but it works well. The cheddar popcorn is very rich and a nice solid cheddar flavor, it's not subtle but it's good for that reason. The caramel popcorn is good as well. Also of note is the fact that somehow their bag folds back up nicely sealing it without sealing it with a zipper or clasp. I'm not sure what it's made of but you can get a big bag and it will last for days without going stale if you roll it back on itself by holding itself in position. We had to do this because while it is great it is very rich so you only need a little bit to feel like you've had a good amount. Popcorn itself is a 5 for sure but docked a couple stars on the service, may just be this location on this day so that's how we ended up here. I still recommend it highly if you're near here for the popcorn itself”

“The only helpful person - the sales associate who assisted my daughter and I in purchasing a fall coat (children’s clothing). She was very sweet, and even showed my daughter a few cute hats. If I were only reviewing her, this would be a five star review. After completing the purchase, we went to the skincare and cosmetics department. There was a particular product I was looking for, and none of the associates offered to help. In the past, this has been a non-issue. I stood at three different counters, and no acknowledgment was made. I noticed at least one group of three associates chatting (looking at a cell phone, no less), and another employee paying for her own purchases. But, that was it. Admittedly, a few associates were busy with makeup applications, but, this was (maybe) two of twenty plus employees. I’m not someone who enjoys writing negative reviews, especially regarding a store I used to love shopping at. Customer service is what makes stores like NM great, and people will revert to shopping online if they can’t get help. It’s ridiculous that in a store full of employees, only one went above and beyond.”
