The interior made me feel at ease, felt comfy. The service was good. However, it was quite costly, especially when compared to the amount of food served. The salmon avocado sandwich was devoid of flavor what was really a disappointment. The nachos lacked depth flavor as well since they consisted of only melted cheese, tomato, and one other ingredient. The fries, well, you can't really mess those up, but they were also lacking. Unfortunately, all of these flavors were undesirable. This place was not my cup of tea”

“After a day at the beach this restaurant just offers what you need: a great terrace, beautiful view over the dunes and good. The menu is varied. I would recommend to order the waffled fries as they are just delicious. Unfortunately no space for a dessert. I need to come back to try the red velvet cake. The service is very friendly.”

“Good food and service. The staff were very welcoming and provided great service. Because of coronavirus restrictions only outside dining was permitted and it was very comfortable despite the weather being not so great. (4/5) The food was delicious and very well presented, I had a salad that was served with 3 generous pieces of white fish. It was delicious! After finishing our food I ordered a Greek coffee. This was also well made and served at the reite temperature (4/5) Unfortunately there was one issue that made me feel very uncomfortable! The staff were allowing people to enter the building to use use the toilets without wearing a face mask 😷. Because we were seated next to the door this made me feel very uncomfortable. The current restrictions in the Netherlands make it mandatory to wear a facemask when entering a restaurant to use the toilets. Despite there being a large board in the doorway stating a mask must be worn the staff did not enforce this at all. This really let down the whole experience for me and I hope if they read this review they will prehaps change the way they handle this issue. This review would have been 4 stars without this.”

“Very nice experience, very nice employees speaking also English and German. Food is good, atmosmere is cozy and romantic. Cats are wonderful, clean and well behaved. Toilet is available and is sparky clean. And one of the important thing: no smell whatsoever meaning the owners and employees are doing a great job. Keep it up ladies, we love you! For sure we will return, thank you!”

“Fantastic place! We were travelling through Rotterdam from the UK and saw the excellent reviews on Google and decided to pay a visit. It was no problem that we spoke little to no Dutch as the owners spoke great English. The Gingerbread Man hot chocolate was delicious, and the mint tea made with fresh mint leaves was equally as good. The White Chocolate Cookie and the Salted Caramel Muffin were very tasty too! A lovely atmosphere to the cafe and set in a lovely quiet leafy location. We’d highly recommend this cafe and would certainly visit again.”

“I looked carefully at the menu and picked a sandwich which doesnt include onion, because I hate it. And of course it had onion in it anyway even though it was not listed. What if I was allergic? WHY DO I HAVE TO ASK ABOUT IT IF IT IS NOT LISTED??!! Big pieces of onion are not considered seasoning. We will never visit this place again.”
