“Had the coconut latte and chocolate lava cake with coconut ice cream. Latte was smooth and an extra shot was also given by the side. Lava cake was bitter sweet and not too sweet, much to my liking. Note: You can leave a google review to claim a free coconut ice cream, which we definitely did! 😄”

Enchanted Cafe Rangoon Road

“The cafe might be a tad bit small / limited seating but I LOVE how it offers ✔️ all day brunches (so I can brekkie food options any time of the day) ✔️ a very nice range of food options from healthy (açais/sourdough/granola etc), western, unique Asian to dessert options that can suit the palate of anyone/everyone and great for gatherings when cant decide. And they actually pull off the different flavours / food quality well! Even their drinks taste good & with very well-suited fairytale names! ✔️ not sure how they sustain - but it runs for 24h ! 🥹😯 ✔️ self-service water which is great ! Toilet avail & clean. The entire restaurant was kinda freezing though. 🥶 Menu: - Avocado toast 🥑 with pumpkin seeds & almonds look simple but it actually tasted rly good! Avo was nicely chilled like cream, whilst sourdough was toasted, topping were good amount of crunch. Would recommend. Praline hazelnut had crunch feulettine base, & nice balance of textures of chocolatey cream/cake/crunch etc but just a tad too sweet at certain sections for me. They have a sister branch concept jsut 1 alternate outlet down where it is just focused on the desserts (macaron/ icecream / cakes), but without the mains. Technically you can still enjoy the desserts within this outlet, or you can go to the calmer brighter space next door. Understand the food sometimes travels from one kitchen to another, depending on what is being ordered/prepared 😅 But understandable given that they offer such a wide variety of food!! Also their menus can all be easily accessible on their website 👍🏻 They are on Burpple/ occasionally have vouchers which make them even more affordable! Would recommend 👍🏻”

“Quaint little cafe, tucked away from the usual hustle & bustle of the Somerset area. My first time trying vegan food, so I was not sure what to expect. To my pleasant surprise, the food was really delicious, and I also enjoyed my time at the cafe. We got the Peanut Tempeh Sandwich, Mushroom Knife-cut Noodles Stir-fry and the Loaded Tater Tots. I love mushrooms and leafy greens, so I was already anticipating the Noodles to be quite yummy (which it was!). The noodles were al dente chewy and paired well with the rest of the ingredients, including the tempeh slices. What I wasn't expecting though, was how yummy the Peanut Tempeh Sandwich was! I thought the sandwich was going to be just average, but it was surprisingly really good! Even my bf agreed that it was really good! The sandwich bread used was a nine grain toast, and it was soft and nice. Unlike the common multi-grain breads, which are usually quite dry and hard. I really didn't expect myself to quite like the sandwich, as I am not really a "sandwich person". So I highly recommend it! The Loaded Tater Tots was abit of a surprise as well. I didn't think that kimchi mayo and korean seaweed would go well together with the tater tots. In fact, I was in two minds about ordering it, but the bf just went ahead to order it. Surprisingly, the seaweed gave the dish an added fragrance and crunch to the tater tots, and the kimchi mayo was tasty enough without any overpowering kimchi taste. Just when I thought I was already too full to eat anymore, my eyes wandered over to the gelato display, and i got curious over the flavors available. Especially the flavor of Berry & Hibiscus Sorbet. So even though we were already quite full, we knew we just had to try the gelato. I was also wondering how vegan gelato would actually taste like, since no dairy products would be used. I chose the Berry & Hibiscus flavor, and the bf chose the Black Sesame flavor. Both flavors tasted pretty much like normal (dairy) gelato. The Black Sesame flavor was very smooth and actually tasted comparable to the Japanese ones. But the Berry & Hibiscus flavor wins hands down, it was both bf and mine's favourite! It was not too sweet, and tasted kinda refreshing! We also had a nice chat with the friendly staff, who educated us more about vegan foods, and how the cafe operates. The cafe even offers private dining and events options! As it was nearing the Lunar New Year season, there were vegan pineapple tarts and sesame cookies for sale too. The cafe also has a little merchandise corner, with vegan bakes & snacks for sale too. We got to sample the Chia Waffle Chips with our gelato, and I liked it so much that I decided to buy a pack home. We were at the cafe on a Friday late afternoon, and it was a nice experience, as there was no crowd, and we took the time to enjoy the quietness and cosy atmosphere of this little cafe. Not sure about the crowd situation over the weekend, but the staff told us it can get pretty filled up. So if you prefer to enjoy a relaxing moment at the cafe, perhaps better to head down on a weekday instead. We arrived at the cafe, not knowing what to expect, but left feeling very satisfied and happy. This visit to Lilac Oak really helped to change our minds about vegan food (especially for the bf). And we are looking forward to our next visit!”

Open until 10:00 PM

60 Airport Boulevard #01-T2S-02, Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), Singapore 819643

“A cafe with food at a reasonable price within an expensive area although it’s a lil more than walking distance. This place is not as crowded but comfortable and the staff are friendly. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I went for their Signature Duck Confit. The presentation is really nice. The duck leg is kinda too dry on the outside but in the inside is still acceptable. Love the fragrant rice pilaf and the sauce is the highlight!”

The Connoisseur Concerto (international Building)

Closed until 10:00 AM

360 Orchard Rd, #01-01 International Building, Singapore 238869

“The blue crab & mango salad was delightful, with a refreshing combination of flavors. However, it's worth noting that the portion size was a bit small for my liking. One standout item was the coconut mint drink, which captivated me with its vibrant green color. While the taste was enjoyable, I found the consistency to be slightly too thick. Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant beverage overall.”

Tai Cheong Bakery (holland Village)

“I had a little doubt that dining in will be better than takeaway, but it’s true. I shall not improvise the food quality here with takeaway anymore! Things served steaming hot, especially at Tai Cheong, is the best.”

Twenty Grammes Cafe

“Nice cafe to come to for desserts. We tried the yuan yang waffles where half the waffles was charcoal. Really nice waffles and you can customise your own waffles order and add whatever toppings you wish. The ice-cream we had was the Earl grey and this was really nice. Not too sweet and definitely tasted like Earl grey. Service was good and they serve you water the minute you sit down. Wouldn’t mind trying more of their desserts.”

Fluff Stack

3 Temasek Blvd, #B1-K4, Singapore 038983

“Decided to try it when the place was relatively empty. Don't know what the hype is about the pancakes. It lacks texture and the name behind the word pancakes. We had to wait 20mins for the pancakes as well. So go when you do not have an urgent appointment. Gave it 2 stars for the food as I feel the croffles were still worth the try. Else, not worth the wait at all.”

Cafe Lilac By Whisking Bakes

466 Crawford Ln, #01-08, Singapore 190465

“Dropped by to try out this cafe which has all things taro~ Tried the Einspanner and Taro Crepe cake. Neither were impressive. Einspanner 3/5 - Taro foam layer on top was tasteless, but the taro bits at the bottom went well with the coffee Taro crepe cake 1/5 - Really not impressed. TBH, the cream had light taro fragrance and taste which was not bad, but the crepe layers itself were so thick that I couldn’t taste the taro in this dish. Don’t recommend this item!”

Oaks Coffee Co.

“Ordered the Tom Yum pasta which was not bad, 4/5. Their ingredients were fresh and the pasta was cooked to perfection. I think the food here are on the pricier side but it was not bad. We ordered matcha latte as well which was not bad, 3.5/5. Staffs were friendly, and has a great atmosphere. I wouldn’t come back unless I’m in that area again ☺️”

Laurent's Cafe & Chocolate Bar

Open until 10:30 PM

80 Mohamed Sultan Rd, #01-11, Singapore 239013

“Decided to try out this cafe after dinner nearby. Very limited seating capacity. Rum and Raisin - not a single taste of rum. Too sweet for my liking Raspberry - acceptable Vienna hot chocolate - good Not sure why the quantity for single scoop for the 2 flavours differ by so much as seen in the pic. Pic taken before any eating. Unless the cakes and tarts are good, else can give the ice cream a miss to save some calories.”

Baristart Coffee Singapore (sentosa)

40 Siloso Bch Walk, Sentosa, Singapore 098996

“Small coffee Cafe opposite the Siloso Beach Resort on Sentosa Island. We found the coffee too mild for our taste. But we are fussy coffee drinkers. They use specialised Hokkaido milk for their brews. Small breakfast selection of sandwiches, baked goods and sweets. Prices on the high side.”
