“I went for a pelvic Ultrasound on 29th Jan . I have had many as have been doing IVF for 7 years . I decided to go to a bulk bill area instead of paying and being out of expense this time. Very Busy and the staff lovely. The sonographer who was pregnant was nice however not confident . She was hurting me when moving the transvaginal probe which I was tolerating. However she left the probe in me for what felt like 10 mins while she left the room to find a colleague to confirm what was seen on screen. She didnt communicate that the probe will be left in or if I am comfortable . I felt violated . Being a nurse , this kind of investigations require to be treated with sensitivity . Edit: The manager contacted me today to apologise for the experience and sonographers are made aware to communicate to their patient during these sensitive investigations. I am impressed they manage to track my mobile number and contact me directly as I have a different name from my google name . Definitely will use this medical imaging centre again as they are proactive with this negative review to apologies for the lack of communication. The manager advised has liaised with the sonographers to communicate with their patients and ensuring they are comfortable during imaging investigations. Changed stars from 2 to 4 as impressed with follow up call .”

“Anyone giving more then 1 star are being lenient, if so a 0 would suffice. This place is notorious for making you wait, whenever I come the secretary (mind you who have no customer service skills and have a blank dumbfounded face) will always say there is a bit of a wait which extended to a minimum of at least 1 hour. Whether it be an X-Ray, Ultrasound or MRI for me or others in my family. I’m never happy here though it is the closest medical imaging location I don’t have much of a choice, but if possible I would change as soon as possible. And clearly reading other reviews, others are not quite pleased either. Please change your staff and have a word with them because this is just disgraceful and is tainting the name of your business.”

“it's actually a 0 star rating, the receptionist thinks she knows better than the Doctors, extremely rude receptionist who refused to make an appointment for me just because it was near closing time. I asked for her name so I can lodge complaint to their head office and she got extremely aggressive. When I told her I am going to write a google review she even go more aggressive. Disgusting service by your receptionist”

“Quoted my wife $150 for an ultrasound of the knee when the booking was made. Ended up being charged twice that after the scan was done because "she's over 50, the ultrasound referral was from a GP not a specialist and there's no Medicare rebate", none of which was advised on the phone when the booking was made. This is poor customer service - the customer should be given accurate information about the cost of the service before deciding to go ahead with it. Will be contacting Federal member Garth Hamilton about the Medicare issue (most people don't develop knee problems until over 50 & my wife is a RN/midwife who needs to be on her feet at work) and the need for more radiology service providers in Toowoomba to increase competition and improve outcomes.”
