“We came here for the first time on Friday for lunch and we weren’t disappointed. The service provided by Maria was fantastic. Our orders were taken promptly and our meals came out super fast. All of our food was delicious but a special mention goes to the Fried Dim Sims and the quality of meat used in the dishes. We also had the Beef & Back Bean Sauce (one of the best we’ve had) as well as the Garlic Chicken, which was delicious but not as strong in flavour, but we do love lots of garlic, so that’s a minor thing. The fried rice is delicious as well. We will definitely be back.”

Really good value for money. We didn’t have a booking and they still served us gracefully and quickly. Food tastes good and the bathroom sinks were very unique and went amazing with the theme. Golden Century is on a totally different planet and only rated 3.9 and is at a similar price point.”

“It took us 45 minutes to drive to this place - and it was well worth the trip! The place was easy to find and there are lots of available parking in the area. Staff were very friendly and the service is excellent. The food was delicious, served hot and the prices are fair. I would recommend getting a seat at the balcony as it was a comfortable place to have lunch at. Highly recommended for anyone to try and we will definitely be coming back.”

“Love Lazy Susan’s. Have visited a few times for dinner; the food is always fresh and tasty, and the service is top notch. Today we visited for Yum Cha (Sunday brunch). We booked a table at 11AM (booking is advised). Thoroughly enjoyed the brunch experience, food was delicious (as always). Highly recommend the Spicy Salt Squid and the Fried Wontons. Also loved my coconut crushie (natural), if you want a non-alcoholic drink; it was very refreshing after walking around in the heat. Looking forward to our next visit! Thank you.”

“First time trying yumcha in Adelaide, based on highest reviews on Google. Must say i was quite disappointed with the food. They quickly sat us down and were quick to give us tea and quick to collect our plates once we finished our food. (Which is standard at any yumcha place) The prawn dumpling 蝦餃 had thick and soggy skin that stuck to the metal, the prawn filling was nice but I believe how you know if the dumpling is good or not is based on how the skin turns out, not just the filling. This was unfortunately the same for the 韭菜餃 prawn and chive dumpling and shiu mai 燒賣. The only thing we liked was the chinese doughnut rice roll 炸兩 at least it was crispy when it was served. We tried the glutinous chicken too but the rice was super dry and strangely it was served inside a bun… Moving onto the super salty minced garlic that they put on top of the chicken feet 鳳爪 unfortunately did not help with the rating, definitely would not recommend for yumcha at all, there are nicer yumcha places i’m sure. Radish cake 蘿蔔糕 was crispy though, and custard lava cake 流沙包 was good but served cold as we were about to finish we heard the table behind us also complaining amongst themselves based on the taste of the food being “eww””

Eventually someone called and a person came up to tell everyone waiting to go to the 2nd floor entry... not sure why they didn't put up a sign telling people. Food is okay. Service is poor. When seated, they didn't say anything or explain how the ordering worked. We hadn't received all of the items ordered when we were given the bill, which was placed on the corner of the table. Empty dishes weren't cleared, we had to move them to make room. Our experience also included a kid at the next table who was jumping around, touching everything on our table because the table are so close and being loud, parents didn't do anything. Bot the restaurants fault but added to the overall experience. Wouldn't go bank and don't recommend.”

“My first time. Love the deco. So much history, Liu Rose Restaurant have been in North Strathfield for 52 years. The food was good, fantastic friendly service. We ordered the Salt n Pepper Fish (Ling fish) , mix veggie and Fried Chicken Ho Fun (flat rice noodle). Not many Chinese restaurant still use paper wrap fully wrap and sealed chopsticks with “how to use chopstick instructions on the back. End the menu with fortune cookies. Just all little details, bring back memories. Makes my lunch much more enjoyable. Thank you.”

“Cannot recommend this place enough! Near authentic experience, cosy food for me. Pricing is decent and there’s a variety of choice food wise. I really recommend trying the donut thing, my tip is to have a sauce bowl of just sugar, dip it in sugar (so good) or you can also dip it in soup (my 2nd favourite way, but bread gets soggy) I enjoyed the 2 menu I ordered in these pictures specifically, even though I enjoy the other menu as well. Been here multiple times and it’s always been decent! Water and stuff are self serve so bare in mind.”
