“Great restaurant with good food. The spacing of the table is good. U don’t feel crowded.”
H Zentre, 18/F, 15 Middle Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
“The view is amazing, design is worth being instagrammed with lots of interesting details. The food is of high quality and if you want to taste local cuisine but wishing it to get properly explained this restaurant is the best place to do that. What should be amended is furniture for sure, the traces on the tables probably show the history of the restaurant but don’t add attractiveness to the place.”

“Amazing dim-sum lunch set. They are all well prepared and served. traditional, delicate, delicious. Definitely come back every time I’m visiting”

“Fushion dim sum restaurant that mixes typical Cantonese style dim sum with Western ingredients and cooking techniques. The ambiance is quite dark which adds to the mood. There are some unique creations here and some are very interesting such as using cod or crab as bit sized dim sum bites. Service is good and the servers are very attentive. It is quite pricey for the quantity you get but it's a fine dining restaurant so that is to be expected. It would also be a great place for a date given the dark ambiance. Most diners are foreigners and expats.”

“Shang Palace was my last meal in HK before heading home. The decor is dated and frozen in time. It is typically Chinese design and even the lightings evinced an old HK charm. It sure can do be with a makeover. But the customer service is truly par excellent. The staffs made an extra effort to please and are attentive to our needs. Every dish is a delight. We had dim sum. The usual rice roll with char siew. Every bite is a savory delight. The appetizer is the peppery roasted cashew nuts. It is awesome. We also had the carrot cake fried in XO sauce. The Char Siew Chan Bao, Fried Pork Dumpling and for dessert, I had the red bean paste infused with orange peel. The food quality is amazing. The carrot cake is fried just right. There is a house specialty whereby there is an edible fried leaf. Overall it is an enjoyable experience. I will definitely make a return visit.”

“Great food, service can be bit of a mixed bag, falling short on some of the most rudimentary of standards.”

“The food is pretty nice. Although it's pricey, the food is delicious. There's music playing at all times. And the waiters are very nice. They're willing to help and are quick.”
Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel And Towers, 20 Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
“Excellent in every aspect. Food. Presentation was good, taste was excellent and the dim sum dishes were served at the perfect pace such that most dishes were about to finish before the next one came. Not sure if this was deliberate or it just happened. Good job. Service. I was impressed by the staff taking reservation. She was professional and very polite. As my guest was late by quite a while, she was very reassuring and accommodating. All these happened despite having almost a full house. The manager was also very kind and professional. We agreed to using that table for an hour for our meal. However, I suspect he had heard my conversation with my guest as we were catching up, he came over to reassure us that we do not need to vacate the table and allowed us to continue chatting for another two hours. Very impressed. The rest of the restaurant befits the status and accolades she has received. My guest and I were very impressed indeed.”

“A slightly more upscale dim sum option in mong kok east. Food was nice but service a little slow. It’s a comfortable spot but make sure to book early.”

“Was recommended to come here by some of my friends, so decided to visit with a group of 3 people. This Chiu Chow Chinese restaurant is split over 3 store, but it's the same kitchen and owner. The marinated goose meat and oyster omelette was on point. The casual stir fry dishes like the pipis and satay beef was also cooked well. The soup also had a bit of ingredients to it. Staff were friendly and attentive. We sat at the restaurant for a while, and wasn't rushed to leave. Would come back to try their other dishes. Recommend to give a try 😋👍👍”

“Wonderful Shanghainese pan-fried dumplings. Juicy and hot, generous meat filling too. They offer a few mix and match combo. The original and black truffle buns are quite delicious. The dan dan noodles are a bit weak though. No seats, all standing tables. Self-pickup and cleanup too. Place is alright is you just wanna grab a quick bite. Overall a pretty good deal for the price you're paying.”
