“Very tasty food albeit a limited menu of classic dishes. We went for the duck, it was as nice as advertised. Reasonably priced and elegant atmosphere. Recommended.”

“I usually visit Royal China (not the club location) and have always enjoyed the food there. The menu here is shorter and doesn’t have my favourite dishes. My friend pre ordered the pei pa duck and we all regretted it. It was too dry and not anywhere as good as the roast duck we normally have. The dishes are overpriced for what they are. It seems they spend too much on presentation than actual portion size or taste. The service is also not as good as their other locations. We had to try to flag the server’s attention multiple and some requests went ignored. Just go to their other branches. Also, see photo of blueberry with sweet n sour pork. Just unnecessarily complicated.”

“Excellent food and service. The corn fed chicken stuffed with shrimp was very unique, sweet and flavorful. This was my first experience trying soup dumplings and I was not disappointed. Service was quite considerate too.”

“always a fab place for excellent oriental food. my go to place since schooling days and it has not changed much even food quality. please keep prices constant in this day and age of high cost of living. the roasted meat remains excellent and the duck yummy! had some vegetables to get my othet side of the diet going and ended off with a very good mango and sago dessert. gets crowded so be prepared to queue or go there early before actual dinner time.”

Dragon Castle

100 Walworth Rd, London SE17 1JL, United Kingdom

“Their food is excellent, particularly their hot soup, which is exceptionally tasty. They offer lobsters, but the price might come as a surprise since it's based on the current market price. I highly recommend trying their spicy fish pot; it has a rich gravy and robust flavors.”

Golden Dragon ( Colindale )

Closed until 12:00 PM

399 Edgware Rd, London NW9 0FH, United Kingdom

“I must say, my first visit was quite splendid. The food, while not reaching god-tier perfection, was undeniably delicious. The ONLY dish that stood out to me was the roasted pork (燒肉). It has crackling skin on top of the fat, succulent meat in the middle and a final salty layer at the bottom. Simply sublime! The service, even amidst the Christmas holidays, was nothing short of excellent. Would definitely revisit this place!”

Gold Fish X Lan Kwai Fong Camden

Closed until 12:00 PM

27 Chalk Farm Rd, Chalk Farm, London NW1 8AG, United Kingdom

“Second time visiting. Standards have deteriorated dramatically. The food was rather bland, not much inventiveness. The soup dumplings were saggy. The rice very very plain. The egg custard buns certainly could have passed for doughnuts. They were not authentic egg buns. Particularly given the renown name of this place abroad. It was disappointing. The staff were not welcoming at all, except for one gentleman. They seemed to be on another planet. Very grateful to be able to try the restaurant again but review wise it has slipped.”

Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine

9 Waterloo Pl, St. James's, London SW1Y 4BE, United Kingdom

“I recently went with a friend to lunch at Imperial Treasure, and it truly exceeded expectations. The dim sum was impeccable—fine, perfectly balanced, and served at an ideal temperature. While the glazed duck was expertly cut in front of us, the noticeable fat layer, though a matter of preference, proved a bit cumbersome to consistently remove. The lack of choice when ordering a whole duck for a party of two felt slightly wasteful . The cocktails, albeit delicious, came with a Mayfair-worthy price tag of £20+. The meal concluded on a delightful note with custard egg buns. I'd certainly return, perhaps with a larger group to minimise leftovers and a heartier appetite to accommodate the large portions.”

“A friend invited me and another friend to a birthday meal. She ordered a variety of food. The service was great. You don't have to wait too long after your order for food. Their food is very nice we enjoyed it very much. A very vibrant atmosphere.”

Din Tai Fung Selfridges
4.1
( 16 reviews )

Level 4, 400 Oxford St, London W1A 1AB, United Kingdom

“It's one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in London. Food efficiency is good, and they have the phone app system where you can order, add items and even pay at the table. Everything is so efficient. I like this branch for its location and bright interior. Food is always delicious, same as the typical Din Tai Fung standard. Apart from the famous Xiao long bao and beef noodles, their custard lava bun is not to be missed.”

Kirin Chinese

10 College Hill, London EC4R 2RP, United Kingdom

“We booked the karaoke room and had dinner there. There was a mixture of Chinese cuisine from Cantonese to Szechuan. It was delicious. The service was good- friendly and polite staff. The song selections for karaoke was OK- it had a range of Chinese, Cantonese, English, Korean and more. There weren't a huge selection but was reasonably enough for us to enjoy the evening. I will come back again for karaoke and dinner.”
