The service was absolutely amazing, attentive, explained everything we needed to know before choosing from the menu. Always ready to fill up our glasses and to ask if we are happy with everything. I ordered a glass of wine and then we aksed for the whole bottle however the wine did not taste the same-probably because it was freshly opened and did not have a chance to breathe. The waitress offered to open another bottle with a smile on her face. We did not want it and kept the one that was already opened but it was a good test to see the reaction. The steak was amazing and if you are a veggie like me, do not worry, there are dishes to choose from. So, all in all, if you are looking for the WHOLE EXPERIENCE it is 100% recommended-the best in Alkmaar (so far :).”

“Found this place by happy accident while touring around Friesland. The location right by the sea is beautiful and the patio and garden are a perfect place to have a meal. They have some tables on the grass, which is perfect if you bring your dogs. Food and drinks were really good also, especially the iced coffee. Would love to visit again the next time I'm in the area.”

“The staff were really helpful. An English menu was very quickly in our hands. They went out of their way to help with deciding on the menu and serving us. There were a couple of mistakes with the food but they were very quickly rectified and we were given an extra drink by way of apology. We had garlic prawns for starters and cheeseburger mains with chips. All fresh and very nicely cooked. The bread on the side was soft and fresh. Food is tasty and quick.”

Vegan burger grilled ham and cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Wrap and a falafel dish. Prices reasonable. It’s near but not on the beach. Walking and biking routes in the area.”
