Their wine selection is outstanding, and they have a great Gin selection too for the Gin&Tonic lovers. The restaurant has amazing fresh fish, as well as very well cooked meat, so definitely recommended.”

“Edit........we returned for a sunday lunch this year September 2023, they had run out of beef, not really an issue so we had the pork, the mash and vegetables were frozen not from fresh produce, the crackling was burnt, and the Yorkshire puddings were flat. I was so disappointed, sadly I will not be returning. I wasn't sure about visiting Hopscotch, I am very happy we did. When we got there a polite waitress was upfront with us and explained they were busy and there would be about a 30 to 40 min wait for food, we happily accepted this and were seated. While we looked over the menu we ordered some cocktails, espresso martini and a Singapore sling, both were delicious and generous in size, we were given some warm bread and alioi, we ordered the scallops for starters........ WOW cooked to perfection with black pudding and pea puree, beautiful dish. The main courses were a 10oz fillet steak and slow roasted belly pork...... We were blown away with the quality, presentation and of course the flavours, they jumped up smacked you in the face and left you wanting more. 100% will be going back. Ella was our waitress, we had an opportunity to speak with the chef at our table, an absolute diamond. In fact all the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish them all the success and looking to seeing them on our second visit in a few days. Thank you again guys!!”

“Breast sandwich with larvae included....🙈 We tell the waitress, she takes it and, without being surprised at all, offers us another one. With an upset stomach we say no, we don't finish the companion's burger or the drinks. We immediately go to the counter to pay, we tell the waitress that it doesn't seem normal to us that larvae appear in a sandwich and she answers us; ...it's normal...there are "worms" in lettuce..., We answered that at their house they still eat lettuce with larvae...in ours we are not used to it, we ask for the bill. They discount the chicken sandwich with "extra protein" and charge us the rest. We apologized to the owner who arrived when the waitress called (because they couldn't find the complaint form)...and we were left wanting... So it's time to file a claim through official channels and not return....”

“Great product, better kitchen. Always homemade, typical Asturian dishes and not so much. We ate shared tapas, artichokes with prawns, marinated loin with potatoes and peppers, Matachana toast and fresh squid in its ink. Then the homemade desserts surprise, even the ice creams (not theirs, but homemade). We had a surprising homemade frozen chocolate cake with hazelnuts and tangerine ice cream. Sorry there are no photos of the food: We will be back!!! Very close and friendly treatment. If it is not cold, recommended on the terrace. But it has a well-used dining room. Curious: if the dish you order comes with sauce, they change all the dishes for the next one. Quite a detail. The price is fair and variety of tapas, good portions. They tell us that there is a daily menu for €6-7 and always homemade, to take home.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The food was exquisite very fresh, tasty and of great quality. The only downside was the table service. It takes a long time to get shown to a table and then a long time before they take your intial order, and again to take your dessert order. The staff seem to have a habit of not making eye contact with customers so, it is difficult to get their attention to take orders and to request your bill. This has been a problem everytime we have visited for lunch. However, we have always enjoyed the meals we have had here. The service is the only let down, if only they would keep an eye on their customers, it would be 100%.”
